Harvey's — Restaurant in Collingwood

Worst. This was my second worst experience. We asked for vegetarian burger combo but we're given original hamburger combo. I took a bite and it was smelling and taste was awful for me as I am a vegetarian by birth and have never tasted meat. I went back and returned the hamburgers. Upon asking we were told that we had asked for it. When I informed them I was vegetarian all my life and also it was related to my hindu religion. I was told that the server heard original combo option. Upon hearing this I said you have your cameras on top of the counters why don't you check your recordings. I was then told by their manager"Sam" we are sorry we will give you extra vegetarian burger for you to take home. What a shitty customer service . This is the second time it has happened two months ago I was give cold French fries at this same location. I was told ok sir we will try to find a solution. Then one of the servers came later after I had finished my burger came with new fries only to tell me that it was a favor they were doing and dropped me his name to write a review about this location that how good they were. I couldn't believe it but what happened today and giving meat to a person who is a vegetarian all his life all they could give me was a replacement burger for which I had paid at the start and word sorry from their manager didn't even mean anything as the honest intent to feel for what they had done was not there anyway.

This is what Harvey's customer service is. Especially if the managers are like that then you can imagine the servers who are at the desk. This was my last trip to Harvey's.Will...

Responding to the response from owner as i have no other way to respond. I actually have an email exchange in where I was asked to give my mailing address for the coupons to be sent to. So no I was not told to come in to pick them up. Had I been told to come in I would have informed who I spoke with that that isn't possible as I don't live in collingwood, was simply passing through.

Absolute worst Harvey's experience ever. I LOVE Harvey's. Sadly this location did not hit the mark. Our burgers were practically drowning in condiment to the point that the meat felt cold. 3 of our burgers were ordered WITHOUT pickles and tomatoe, all 3 came with. 1 with just mustard and onions, they put so much mustard on they mine as well have just packed up the bottle for us. Also ordered a poutine with extra cheese curds and not only did it not have extra cheese curds but the container was half empty and the fries were under cooked. Super unimpressed. Will be passing this complains along to head office. Edit to update. Ended up reaching out to head office since no response was recieved to my review. Was put in contact with someone who said they would reimburse us with burger coupons. No such thing was recieved. Taking away the one start i can. Would take them all away if it was possible. 3 months later, still havnt recieved the coupons I was offered. Don't waste you time at this location, service and food is horrible and no one seems to want to rectify the issues. I recently visited a Harvey's, and it was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had. Read this entire review, thank me later. ⚠️ I wish I had got a return for the price I paid or a discount… I gave everything 2/5 stars and i would have went lower but they gave me the food and the works still made it. Here's why:

Service (2/5): The staff was painfully slow. The girl who took my order wasted so much time, and the whole process was a mess. She didn’t even know how to properly enter my order into the computer, which led to a ridiculous 15-20 minute wait for my food. And when I finally got it, the experience only got worse.

Food (2/5): The cheesy noodles I ordered were cold and undercooked. It was as if they didn’t bother to finish preparing it. The fries were dry, lacking any flavor or freshness—definitely not what I expected. Then there was the chicken salad, which cost me about $13.50. The salad itself was okay, but there were way too many carrots at the bottom, and the chicken was horrendous. It was nothing like the picture, or what I’ve had at other Harvey’s locations. The portion of chicken was tiny, making me feel totally ripped off.

Atmosphere (2/5): The inside of the place was a mess, which didn’t help the situation. It felt chaotic and unprofessional.

The only thing that was decent was the drink. Everything else was a waste of money. Unfortunately, I couldn’t even complain because I had already left the place. Definitely not going back to...
