This is a great place to grab food after a night out, but the customer service really misses the mark. The employees seem more focused on closing early than actually serving customers. Even though the hours clearly say open until 3 AM, they start telling people it’s “takeout only” because they don’t want to clean up before closing. If dine-in isn’t available after a certain time, then the hours should reflect that — lock the doors earlier or have a drive-thru option (which they don’t). As a food business owner myself, when Google Maps says a restaurant closes at 3, that means both food service and dining should remain open until then. On top of that, it’s unprofessional for employees to be on FaceTime or personal calls while working. I didn’t want to call it out, but it’s frustrating when customer service feels like an afterthought. For future reference, if the restaurant says it closes at 3, customers should be able to sit, eat, and leave at their own pace….just like other late-night spots, without being pressured to finish quickly so employees can get out early. Respect your posted hours, and customers will respect your business.

I had a terrible experience at this fried chicken place. I ordered a fried thigh, and it was hard, greasy, and smelled awful. It seemed like it was either days old or fried multiple times. The staff were unhelpful and defensive when I gave them feedback, insisting they always cook fresh food, even though I showed them the disgusting chicken. When I asked for a replacement, the staff said it would take 30 minutes, then changed to 20 minutes, and finally said 13 minutes after checking the oven. Clearly, they don’t care about providing good customer service. They refused to give me a refund, and I had no choice but to accept two drumsticks instead of the thigh I originally ordered. If you buy chicken from this place, be cautious. If it looks red like in the picture, do not buy it—demand a replacement. If it’s soft like the drumstick, then it’s safe to buy. This was a very bad experience, and it’s unfortunate because it’s my second time dealing with this. Last time, I arrived at the store to complain, but it was already closed. I hope they improve, but I won’t be coming back.

The recent opening of Hi Five Chicken in Burquitlam couldn't have come at a more opportune moment. With the community rapidly expanding and the recent exit of a major fried chicken chain, it feels as if the timing was written in the stars. We decided to indulge in a takeout order for our initial encounter. The team's service was exceptional, providing helpful advice for first-time customers and a complimentary appetizer during our short wait. They outshone themselves when a component of our family meal was unavailable and thoughtfully substituted it with other items at no extra cost. As for the chicken, it won my palate over with its non-greasy texture, a notable divergence from many fried chicken places. The availability of a grilled option with a delightful smoky note was a pleasant surprise. Not to forget, their signature sauces, both regular and spicy variants, were a flavorful delight. Their enthusiastic promotion of the new location was evident, and I hope that this level of customer service continues into the future.

Hi Five Chicken is hands down one of the best chicken places I've ever been to! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with friendly and attentive staff who are always ready to help.

The menu at Hi Five Chicken is absolutely mouthwatering. They offer a wide variety of chicken dishes, from classic fried chicken to unique and flavorful options like Spicy or Regular Roasted chicken. No matter what you choose, you can be sure that each dish is made with the utmost care and attention to detail.

The quality of the chicken itself is outstanding. It's always juicy, tender, and cooked to perfection. The crispy coating is incredibly flavorful and adds an extra layer of deliciousness to every bite. It's clear that Hi Five Chicken uses the finest ingredients and takes pride in their food.

The portion sizes at Hi Five Chicken are generous, ensuring that you'll leave feeling satisfied and full. The sides are just as impressive as the chicken. Whether it's their perfectly seasoned fries or their delectable Mashed Potatoes, each side dish complements the chicken perfectly.

The atmosphere at Hi Five Chicken is cozy and inviting. It's a great place to gather with friends or family and enjoy a delicious meal together. The staff is always attentive and ensures that you have a pleasant dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Hi Five Chicken to anyone craving some amazing chicken. With their outstanding food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere, it's a dining experience that you won't...

“I want to give a big shoutout to the amazing team at Hi Five Chicken, especially Rakhi, Parneet, and Zara, for their outstanding customer service and kindness. Every visit has been a wonderful experience for my family, particularly my son.

Rakhi is incredibly thoughtful and goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. One time, when an item was forgotten from our order, she quickly resolved the situation by offering an extra piece on the house. Today, she surprised us with two complimentary drumsticks with our order—such a kind gesture! She also gave my son a cookie when he was upset, instantly cheering him up.

Parneet is equally amazing. When she first met my son, she welcomed him with a chocolate chip cookie, which made him so happy! Her warm and friendly demeanor is always appreciated.

Zara is also fantastic—she’s always so attentive to customer needs. When I asked for a bun apart from our order, she quickly provided it without hesitation.

This team truly cares about their customers and makes every visit special. Their attention to detail, generosity, and kindness are unmatched. Thank you, Rakhi, Parneet, and Zara, for always going the extra mile for your customers. You’ve made our visits so memorable, and we can’t...
