I visited the restaurant today with my children. We looked through the paper menu and chose the chicken shawarma wraps. When it was time to pay, I noticed a difference between the prices on the menu and the amount I had to pay. When I asked the cashier about it, he told me that the menu was outdated and the prices had changed. I asked why they didn't update the prices on the paper menu, but the only response I got was that they had manually edited it on the overhead menu board.
The wraps were decent, but they could have been better if grilled for a few seconds longer. The cleanliness was poor as there were food remnants on one of the tables, and when we left, it hadn't been cleaned at all. The customer service was not satisfactory either. From my side, I won't be giving it another try.

Read moreThis place has decent food but the staff know absolutely nothing about customer service and are misleading their customers. They have one price posted on their menu board, written over very amateurly with another higher price, another price posted in their flyer at the counter, and yet another price on their website. I assumed the menu board price was the correct one as that was the highest. One of the items I ordered did not go through at the price that was posted on their menu board. What really irks me is when I mentioned this, the employee was downright rude and got very defensive saying they’ve recently increased their prices and the board has not been updated yet. I explained that as a matter of principle, they have to charge the price that is displayed but she refused to listen. Finally, she charged her own price, something between the price on their menu board and what it initially went through at. I’m really trying to support small businesses and would happily pay any reasonable price but I refuse to fall prey to the unscrupulous practice of displaying one price on the menu board and charging customers another price. She should have apologized and charged me the listed price, or, as a good gesture, given me that one item without charge. But instead she went on a rant and failed to apologize. I’ll take my business elsewhere thank you very much. I refuse to support a place where customers are not treated...
Read moreEdit: been here 3 times since my original review. Best falafel wrap I've had in Coquitlam. Spend the extra $4 and get a King sized one
Original review: I shop next door at Superstore almost every week and go to the Starbucks close by almost every day, and for some reason I never bothered trying this place. Glad I did. Due to my new found love for Falafel and my need to keep finding restaurants that serve it I came here after work on Friday. Didn't know what to expect. For some reason I expected the usual shawarma/donair type shop. Go up to the till, order, and they make your food right in front of you. This place feels different. It feels more like a sitdown restaurant where they serve you, but don't. You still have to get your food from the counter. I was pleasantly surprised. It's very clean inside with quite a bit of seating for a shawarma place.
Today I ordered the Falafel platter and there's one thing I need to point out. If you look at my photo for the menu, it says that platters come with rice, little did I know that rice meant Dolma, which is rice wrapped in grape leaves. I was kind of disappointed. There is no other signage that indicates that. There's even a picture of a party tray with rice in the restaurant, so I assumed that's the rice I'd be getting. As a result, this place gets three stars. The falafel was pretty good though. I liked how...
