Worst service experience in a coffee shop ever. We stopped here on our way to Deer lake for an iced coffee. Not sure if the barista is a bad mood or whatnot, but he was extremely rude to us. The coffee came with sweetener in it, which we did not ask for. He said their iced coffee comes with vanilla syrup, and educated us that we should have asked about it before ordering. Even if it is a local norm that we were not aware of, he did not have to give us such an attitude. He also made sure that he took the first cup of coffee back and dumped it, so that he could reuse that exact cup to make us another coffee. The shop looked...

I have been going to Hr. Grounds for nearly 2 years faithfully. I lived in Cormack/ Deer Lake area and almost on all visits to CB I gave my business to you! Have since moved to CB and was very disappointed in service the other day. I had coffee and Breakfast and CONSUMED 1 CUP OF COFFEE. When leaving I took a To Go cup to put coffee in and take with me ( which I often did) I wasn't filling myself with coffee to no end....When the staff members charged me ANOTHER $2.75 because I was taking a coffee with me...I would have gladly paid for the to go cup but it certainly is not worth $2.75 or give me! I just love harbour grounds. It is a quaint cafe with tons of local spirit! You can find here exactly what you’d expect of a cafe: great coffee and lattes, home made soups and sandwiches, a rotating lunch menu, great baked goods! I personally love the partridge berry scones and turkey soup. It has nice views of the bay, and always friendly staff.
