Here are some common Cranbrook McDonald’s problems and solutions to those problems: Fully expect your order to be wrong at this McDonald’s. Also, show up fully ready to repeat yourself 5 times as loud and clear as you can possibly be in the drive-through. If you order 3 bacon and eggers and ask for salt and pepper, don’t assume they will give you enough for all 3 sandwiches. They’ll most likely give you two salt and zero peppers. If you tell them how many salt and peppers or ketchups you want at the drive-through speaker, you won’t get any. You have to beg for it at the window. Just ignore how much they make you feel like this is a huge inconvenience to them. I once had them tell me to park on the street to wait for my order because the two drive-through waiting spots were full. After 15 minutes, they came out with my bacon and eggers (two salts, zero peppers in the bag) and they told me I shouldn’t park on the street 🤔. I made them go back and get me the other salt and pepper I asked for and that was a massive inconvenience. There was another time I ordered breakfast sandwiches. I had a tee time booked and the standard Cranbrook McDonald’s 15 minute drive-through wait had me in a hurry. They finally came and gave me a bag of food and I hit the road to the golf course. I dug into the bag on the way there to find it was an order of 50 NUGGETS with no sauce…at 9am…super breakfasty. Also, make sure you get a few extra straws if you plan on taking longer than 5 minutes to drink your pop. Swap them out to minimize the paper taste and odds of your straw collapsing in on itself. While you’re at the Cranbrook McDonald’s, make sure to swing around back and watch people smoke crack and show full frontal whilst peeing towards the road that your family is traveling on. Prepare to cover your 10yo daughter’s eyes. Remember to take a proactive and assertive approach at the Cranbrook McDonald’s drive-through. Thanks for coming to...
Read moreI attended the Cranbrook McDonald's and noticed a few issues:
The terminals had no paper receipts, when I notified a team member they just said oh we got the order dont worry about it. It would've been nice for them to refill the receipt paper. They never did. The display above the pickup counter isn't operating even. The tables were just disgusting. It didn't look like had cleaned them at all the entire day. It was absolutely foul and not to the standards I would normally expect at mcdonalds to be honest. The seats are fabric and were so absolutely disgusting and stained that I didn't want to even lean against them. It looks like they've never been upholstery cleaned since they were installed. We looked at multiple tables and all were just disgusting and dirty. Trash was overflowing and there was a stack of trays above the bins, its like they haven't done their dining room rounds at all. When I worked at McDonald's it was expected that the dining room was clean and tidy. Bathrooms could use a little work as well. Why are so many of the tables chained off? Is it because they don't want to clean them either? Its not as though they clean any of the other tables in the restaurant. The ketchup tastes off. It was kind of gross and bland, but also sweet somehow?
Overall, I personally will never return to this McDonald's and will let people know not to go here. I just hope that we won't get sick from the food because the restaurant was so absolutely abhorrent. The restaurant was empty, and it wasn't such a surprise given the condition of the tables, the floors, and how uninviting the space was since it was so gross.
Also; McDonald's website asks for our receipt number when submitting a complaint but I don't have it because we weren't provided a receipt since the paper was out and the employee refused to replace it and just told us the...
Read moreWent in for a Mcflurry and the spouse convinced me we should eat as well. I choose a salad after looking up the nutrition and allergy details online, I have Celiac, I wasn't able to find the dressings with the salads but generally they are easy to identify. We decided to try our the new self serve terminals, easy to use but wouldn't print the receipt at the end.. which confused us. We spoke with the girl at the counter who assured us it happens all the time. We received our food quickly. I reviewed the ingredients on the dressing packet and it did contain a wheat warning so I took it back up to the counter immediately and asked if they had one that didn't contain wheat. The counter person said no without hesitation. I passed her my dressing packet and said she could give it to someone else as I couldn't eat it. She immediately tossed it in the trash stating "it had crossed the counter" and they couldn't use it. I understand that but really throw it in the trash after I walk away. I returned to our table amongst running, yelling children, that are not ours. And ate my salad with no dressing, about 2/3 of the way through eating it I finally found the dressings on the website.. in the very last page and lo and behold they do have a gluten free dressing after all!! Thanks for that... a little too late. Won't be back...
