I'd have to say I'm quite disappointed in the service and have a concern about the food safety process here.. The first time I've been here, the food was great, I was raving about this place to all my friends and couldn't believe how great the food was. But my visit last night definitely turned me off to ever going there again...
Your business hours show that you are closed at 8pm on a Wednesday. Which is fine, we showed up at 7pm which I think is more than enough time to have dinner. 7:30pm rolls around as we are eating, and your counter staff decides to put up the surrounding dining room chairs up to "close". As working in the service industry and especially as a newly opened restaurant, you'd think you'd want to ensure your patrons are welcomed and as well as trying to keep your business to stay open to turn a profit. As your staff are putting up the chairs half an hour before close, it made us feel very unwelcomed and rushed to get us to finish our dinner and the staff was just GLARING at us while we were eating...which didn't make us feel good about it at all. That wasn't even the worse part.
The entire restaurant was FREEZING. We looked up the heat pumped above our heads, and it didn't show that it was turned on, or it was broken? But it felt like we were eating outside in the middle of winter, it was that cold. Which leads me into my next thing.. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, and the hot water tap just was running ICE COLD water. So I wonder if the kitchen out back is experiencing the same thing for their faucets because especially for FOOD SAFETY...if your cooks are washing their hands in cold water, doesn't mean that their hands are fully cleaned to be handling people's food. As well as my friend's burger was still PINK in the middle.. He couldn't even finish his food because he just felt instantly sick just looking at it. We have both worked in the food service industry and couldn't believe the experience for the 45 minutes that we were there.
I normally don't like leaving bad reviews, and I would hope the owners would take this in stride and use this review as a training tool. There is a lot of potential to this place, but if it keeps up the way that turns people off like that, I wouldn't be surprised that this business fails like the other food joints on...
Read moreDo yourself a favour and go to cheese curds or McDonald's across the street instead. I paid $20 for the worst take out burger I've ever had and the blandest poutine I've ever had. I was so excited to finally try this place and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. I ordered a mushroom burger and a poutine. Mushroom burgers are usually my fav, I love the one at the mic mac tavern and even Wendy's, never had a bad one before today. This burger was so bland and flavorless, the mushrooms were not even cooked and were just in some flavorless white sauce. It want even warm enough to melt the slice of cheese. The poutine was a good size and had nice fries, buy once again the gravy so so so bland and flavorless, it had zero seasoning. Also the guy working the front desk really seemed to not want to be there and really made me feel like taking my order was a huge burden to him. They advertise the mushroom burger as a combo special for $10.99, I asked if I could get that and just pay the upgrade fee for poutine but he said wasn't possible (which is fine) but he said it like I was an idiot for even asking. I got my daughter a cheeseburger happy meal across the street and had burger envy watching her eat hers compared to mine! Two stars only because the fries would have been good if they were plain and had been salted (no bland gravy). I really wanted to like this...
Read moreI recently had an outstanding dining experience at Charger Burger, and I can't stop raving about their delicious halal burgers. Their commitment to using halal ingredients is commendable, and the quality and taste of their food is unmatched. I highly recommend this burger joint to anyone who wants to indulge in mouth-watering burgers and other great eats.
However, as a resident of Moncton, New Brunswick, I must say that there is a growing demand for quality halal food options in our area. With a rapidly growing population, there is a clear need for more food establishments that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences.
I believe that Charger Burger would be an excellent addition to the Moncton food scene. The quality of their food is unparalleled, and I'm confident that the residents of Moncton would love it. With the recent success of new restaurants and food joints in the area, there is no better time for Charger Burger to expand their business to Moncton.
I hope that Charger Burger takes note of the demand for halal food in our community and considers expanding their business to Moncton. I know that many people in our area would love to have access to such high-quality food and exceptional service. So, come on, Charger Burger, let's...
