Love the food!! It is amazing! Making sure I write a review on a day I didn't go though so that I can rant. Did you know that the employees don't get ANY of the tips that we give through the debit machine. NOT ONE PENNY!! I found this out over a year ago and decided I would never tip by debit again. I have asked 3 different employees since then and they all said it was true in very hushed tones as if they would get in trouble for answering truthfully. I would stop going there because of their unfair practices, but I love the food so I always make sure to tip in cash!! Please stop tipping these owners. They make enough money without stealing from their employees. I don't know if cheese curds is run the same way but they are run by the same people. Just wanted you all to know.
Update: because it won't let me reply to the manager. I am not being slanderous in any way. I am a very honest person and I would never make this stuff up. If it is so obvious to your staff that tip sharing is done this way, then why do 3 different staff from 3 different time periods have the same story? I'm sorry you feel the need to call me a liar instead of investigating the issue. Your staff obviously needs to have it explained to them if they aren't understanding how it works, but as far as I'm concerned, they have no reason to lie to a customer. However, after a recent experience, I find myself reconsidering my previous 5-star review. The level of customer service was nothing short of appalling. The staff member had a limited grasp of English, which led to a complete misunderstanding of my order. Worse still, she used her hands to handle the food instead of the appropriate utensils, which was both unhygienic and unprofessional.
Additionally, the inconsistency in portioning was frustrating—one burrito was loaded with protein, while the other barely contained any. When I inquired about the disparity, the staff member explained that extra meat would incur an additional charge. This lack of transparency only added to my dissatisfaction.
To make matters worse, the quality of the food itself had significantly deteriorated. What had once been flavorful and satisfying was now bland and poorly prepared.

Read moreBarely even one star. This is all to do with the service. I understand that generally younger people will be responsible for operating food businesses, especially later in the day; but the key there is "responsible".
My friends and I arrived (3 of us in total) to the establishment and it seemed empty. No staff, no customers. We looked at the menu and talked about what we were getting and no one came out to greet us or take our order. We seriously considered leaving the abandoned atore.
After about 10 minutes a young man emerged from the kitchen and asked to take our order (did not apologize for the wait). He took one of our orders and proceeded to complete his entire order (building burrito, grilling, and accepting payment) before moving onto the next of us. It was at this point that a younger woman who appeared to be the supervisor also appeared. They both worked on the remaining orders.
All in all we ended up being there for nearly 30 minutes to get 3 burritos.
