I want to share my experience, and i hope the owner is going to try to improve on what is mentioned. The food quality is incredible, the service and staff are incredible, and the speed is fantastic, this is where the 3 stars come in, now unfortunately the portion of food is not so great, and the price, this is where this buisness will really suffer.
With the amount of competitors in the area, there is value of food and portion expected. We understand you want to achieve your rov as fast as possible so that you can create profits. You have to realize there is room to improve, people take time out of their day to provide constructive criticism for a reason. I hope this buisness will have a bright future, but it was very underwhelming to see the lack of customers. Reduce price, sell higher quantity is the game, everyone loves great value, they will be more likely to return, unfortunately in this buisness making money is a slow burn, but it has to be to keep costs down.
The demographic in woodside are not willing to buy 22$ small burgers with a side of fries and fountain pop, They will not be returning customers. over time you will understand that it is much easier for a customer to sacrifice quality over portion, quality of food is important dont mistake that, but not at the expense of portion.
As a buisness owner myself, reduce costs, sell more, and invest in some marketing, as it is quite obvious that most people who are passing it probably have no idea of the great menu and quality.
I will check back in 6 months to see if any improvements have been made, but if nothing has improved i will not be returning a third time. When i return, I will provide an updated rating based on the second opinion that the owner is willing to listen to the public, and their employees, as I am sure this concern has been raised by them as well. Trust your employees to make right decisions, and you will be successful. If you ignore everyone giving you advice, you will not survive in...
Read moreI think Dartmouth is sleeping on this place. It never seems to busy but I always get a pretty good meal. No complaints. In fairness, it's on burger corner or burger street. You have Charger Burger, Cheese Curds and Krave Burger all in a row competing with McDonald's across the way. So lots of options and competition.
What I like about Krave Burger is the easy drive thru. It's in the old A&W location. Any time I have gone, there has not been a long line up at the the drive thru, which is great. You will, however, be waiting for your food because they make it fresh. I like the burgers - I usually just get a basic cheese burger with the works. I love a grilled onion on my burger. I love the fresh cut fries.
Today I got chicken fingers. Though they were not the biggest chicken fingers I've ever had, they were were still homemade, not frozen and really good. Taste like maybe buttermilk? Lots of options for dipping sauces. I opted for sweet and sour and a dill ranch. I think they were house made...or at least the dill ranch probably was. I really liked it.
The prices are pretty comparable to other burger joints. Based on my experience with the chicken fingers, I will definitely try the chicken burger next. I will update my...
Read moreVery friendly service compared to the popular fast food chains. Hasn't been busy the two visits that I have been here, but that is usually around 7pm, not prime meal time. Tasty Krave burger with cheese, juicy patty, not too big, not too messy, just hits the spot if you want a basic good cheeseburger. (Oddly, their menu only lists the favorite Krave burger, and a bacon cheese version. I wanted just cheese added, and not bacon). Good choice of side options including fries, rings, half & half, sweet potato fries, Mac & cheese, and who knows what else. My favorite thing so far is the homemade shakes. The chocolate and the peanut butter flavors are perfect. Not too big, but who needs to be dying full and have all those calories? You'll scratch the itch here if you crave a shake. Then again, they probably do offer a larger size...I went in with specific things in mind and haven't looked too closely at the menu. Will be back over the...
