Baba Sweets & Shivalik Restaurant — Restaurant in Delta

I just went to this sweet shop with my friends for first time we literally have worst experience ever. Their customer service was really bad they don’t even have sense to behave with the customers. We had ordered 5 items there, firstly, they only serve 4 and still charging for 5 and when we ask for the bill, girl over the counter immediately deducted that amount. Secondly, we ordered mango shake, it was really bad in taste and even they have added too much sugar in it, I don’t even take a full sip and I suddenly told the server that it was not good in taste, even it was weird. They even ask us to pay for that weird and tasteless shake which was there mistake, server just told us that this same shake served to other customers as well and they didn’t complain what this means??? She said she will ask his owner to reduce the shake amount from the bill. When she was having conversation with his owner their sound was coming from outside as well, he said it’s their problem that they didn’t like it and girl come back and told us that his owner is not there and literally we heard there conversation. Again he said that they doesn’t want to pay that’s why they are creating scene. Literally if we don’t want to pay then we can also don’t pay for other as well. Girl at the cash counter become really rude to us said I have reduce the amount. Literally, when I heard that (paise denn de mare kar rahiya), I told her to charge full amount and she don’t even look towards us and I told her, I’m adding shakes amount as a tip and they can take it.

I will never recommend this sweet shop to anyone!!!

Worst...

I ordered 5 samosa plate for evening snack on Dec 31. We all didn't eat anything else as the plate was big enough. All the members of my family now have food poisoning. When I reached the Baba sweets to let them know about this, they said I was the only one complaining about their food as they had many people order the same thing yesterday. The lady I spoke was so rude and pinning the blame on me by saying my body did not react well to their masalas. The guest we had over also had the same issue. This is the worst customer service I had so far in Canada and I have been living here for about 7 years now. I had no intention of reviewing them in this way all I wanted to do was inform them about the issue so that the root cause can be found but all I got was this lady trying to talk me into proving that I am wrong. I will never recommend this place...

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The girl with glasses at the front desk was extremely disrespectful. I ordered food, but we weren’t even offered water. Meanwhile, the table next to us received friendly greetings and prompt service. They were served their food before us, even though we had ordered first.

I had ordered one plate of chole bhature and one gobi paratha. After waiting 15 minutes, only the chole bhature arrived, and the paratha never came. Frustrated, I decided to leave without finishing my meal. To make matters worse, the girl with glasses charged me for both the chole bhature and the paratha.
