Disappointing Experience with Negligent Management at Kerala Kitchen. I recently had an incredibly disappointing dining experience at Kerala Kitchen, and I feel compelled to share my concerns about the restaurant's lack of professionalism and poor customer service. During my visit, I discovered a hair in my food, which not only ruined my meal but also left me deeply dissatisfied with the overall experience.
The incident occurred when I was halfway through enjoying my dish. Discovering a foreign object in one's food is not only unappetizing but also raises serious doubts about the restaurant's hygiene practices and attention to detail. As a paying customer, it is only fair to expect a certain level of cleanliness and food quality, both of which were sorely lacking in this case.
What made matters worse was the management's complete disregard for my concerns. When I brought the issue to their attention, they displayed a shocking lack of empathy and failed to address the matter in a satisfactory manner. The dismissive attitude from the management was both disheartening and unacceptable.
The response, or rather lack thereof, from the management left me feeling unheard and unvalued as a customer. In situations like these, it is crucial for a restaurant to take immediate action, offer a sincere apology, and demonstrate a genuine commitment to resolving the issue. Unfortunately, none of this occurred at Kerala Kitchen.
As a result of this incident and the management's negligence, I cannot in good conscience recommend Kerala Kitchen to others. The incident not only tainted my dining experience but also highlighted the restaurant's lack of concern for customer satisfaction and their failure to uphold basic hygiene standards.
I believe that a restaurant's success is not solely dependent on the quality of its food, but also on its ability to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for its customers. Kerala Kitchen has clearly fallen short in this regard, and I sincerely hope that they take this review as an opportunity to reflect on their practices and make the necessary improvements.
In conclusion, my encounter with a hair in my food at Kerala Kitchen coupled with the management's dismissive attitude has left me deeply disappointed. As a discerning customer, I expect better standards of cleanliness, attention to detail, and customer service. Until significant changes are made, I cannot recommend Kerala Kitchen as a dining...
Read moreEmbarking on a culinary journey from the comfort of my home, I had the pleasure of savoring the biryanis from Kerala Kitchen, skillfully crafted by Chefs Rinu and Khadhar. Despite opting for a takeaway experience, the flavors and aromas transported me to the heart of their kitchen. With an array of options, each biryani displayed a unique personality, promising an adventure for the taste buds. I tasted chicken biryani which was a delightful blend of succulent pieces of chicken, fragrant basmati rice, and an enticing medley of spices. The flavors were well-balanced, and each bite provided a harmonious mix of textures and aromas. The biryani carried a distinct depth of flavor, with the spices playing a central role in creating a memorable taste. The balance between the spices allowed for an immersive experience, without any one element overpowering the dish. The fragrant rice acted as a canvas, absorbing and enhancing the flavors of the marinated meats and vegetables. The biryanis were thoughtfully packaged, maintaining their freshness and ensuring that the flavors were preserved during transport. The box was accompanied by a tantalizing aroma that hinted at the delightful feast within. Kerala Kitchen's biryani crafted by Chefs Rinu and Khadhar, managed to capture the essence of Kerala's culinary heritage even in a takeaway format. The flavors, attention to detail, and commitment to quality were commendable. However, the magic of dining in the restaurant might have added an extra layer of enjoyment that was missed during the takeaway experience. Despite that, I left the meal content and impressed by the effort put into the dishes. In the realm of biryanis, Kerala Kitchen's offering remains a flavorful escape, leaving me eager to explore more of their menu...
Read moreThis will be our spot we go to from now on, when we visit Vancouver!
I had to look very hard for a very good south Indian cusine, the one closer to us got closed down, so this was the one good choice left. Took my father in law, father and my husband to try out paper dosa, as it's one of our favorites, and never in a million years imagined we'd find this in Vancouver BC!
The flavors hit so hard, they aren't overly spicey, they are just perfect, everything from food to service was spot on!
The sweet Lassi could be a bit less sugary, even though it was meant to be sweet it was a bit too sweet. Apart from that that food was just spectacular! I'd hope to see more diverse cultures hitting this location for dine in experience. The seats could be improved as it may move while your eating, probably due to the alignments. The toilets are very clean and modern, but the locks need improvement please. The decor in the whole restaurant is just perfection, it was giving fusion to be honest. The appam can be served on one plate like 3 or 4 portions to be honest, it doesn't need to be served in several dishes, this would help the servers too.
Overall, 10/10. We hope to come there more often, when we visit Vancouver! Keep up the great work 👍🏼 👏 💪🏽 👌🏽 🙌 🙏🏽
We hope you expand and improve more, let's have some brownies for dessert/chocolate biscut puddings added into the menu if possible!
The coconut dessert we had was unique too, we loved it! Make more signature desserts and dishes, we'd love to try more!
Even my 9month pregnant body loved it! Thank you for being clean, tasty, quality, great service and amazing...
