tl;dr: yes they’re worth it! try them at least once, snap a pic for ig to flex on your friends and eat it right out front.

OFFERINGS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ i had wanted to try this style of thick, stuffed cookies for soo long and i’m glad these were my first ones. my personal ranking of what i’ve tried is: s’mores (4.5⭐️), birthday cake (4⭐️), earl grey (3.5⭐️), the OG (3⭐️).

these are good cookies, especially to try once or bring to a party. for me personally, their flavours aren’t diverse enough to come back again and again. they’re mostly chocolate/caramel or herbaceous. and then if their monthly cookies is another of the same profile… it’s a pass for me 😳 but i’m probably in the minority.

EXPERIENCE ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the staff is friendly and excited by their offerings. it’s a super trendy place so it is busy, both with regular patrons and influencers. the space itself is small and a bit cramped. it’s hard to know who’s waiting to order and who is waiting for their order. luckily the staff are attentive and will help if you walk in looking confused.

in terms of eating experience… i would’ve enjoyed these cookies much more the first time around if there was a little write-up (maybe on the packaging?) on how to best enjoy them. i know what you’re thinking, “it’s eating a cookie, how hard can it be?!” well we thought they wouldn’t be good left out so we put them in the fridge. big mistake. had no clue how to heat them up again after so we ate them cold. they were fine. but if we had reheating instruction we could’ve been convinced they were stellar without having to go back again for a second attempt. just that small touch for customer experience would’ve made a big difference.

side note: the s’mores cookies do not fair well in the bags they offer for single cookies. they get stuck to the sides and can’t be enjoyed as intended. luckily, i ate mine right away but my friend wanted to save hers for later. sadly that meant the marshmallow got stuck to the bag and the integrity of the cookie was compromised as a result.

VALUE ⭐️⭐️⭐️ it’s $6 for a single cookie. obviously, that’s expensive. they do offer scale pricing where the more you buy, the more you save so i do appreciate that.

I used BAK'D to send some holiday cheer to my team over this past (pandemic-ridden) holiday season. The entire team sent over rave reviews for the cookies, and really appreciated the surprise cookies. Amongst the comments received from the team were:

"Thank you very, very much for the most amazing assortment of bespoke cookies that I have ever experienced! I am very grateful (because cookies are the best) and BAK’D looks like a wonderful local company who I will certainly be supporting in the future!"

"Thank you so much for the amazing cookies! They look absolutely divine and delicious!"

"(We) had them last night and they were so amazing. Thank you so much!"

Jess and her team were able to not only provide delicious cookies for the team, but also worked closely with me to ensure that they had all the appropriate delivery information beforehand, as well as worked flexibly to ensure delivery when it was convenient for the recipients. To top it off, they ran into an unexpected situation whereby some cookies couldn't be delivered (the recipient had gotten called out of town unexpectedly at the last moment), so they were able to provide alternate options and were even able to provide the option to donate the food to those in need if alternate arrangements couldn't be made. This was above and beyond and definitely appreciated by both myself and my team member!

Between the amazing experience working with Jess to get the gifts together, the amazing cookies, and the flexibility and attention to detail that the team provided when handling the deliveries, I can't say enough good things about the team. I'll more than happily recommend them to anyone going forward, and I know I'll be ordering more cookies for...

Hands down the BEST cookies in town – bak’d is a must-visit!

If you’re a cookie lover, stop what you’re doing and go to bak’d. This place is in a league of its own when it comes to freshly baked, giant, gooey, indulgent cookies. The flavors are creative, the quality is top-tier, and the experience is made even better by the incredible owners, Jess and Andy.

From the moment you walk in, you’re hit with the warm, sweet smell of cookies straight out of the oven. The display case is always stocked with mouthwatering, oversized cookies that look like they came straight from a food magazine. — there’s something for everyone. The textures are perfect: crisp edges, soft and chewy centers, and just the right amount of richness in every bite.

What truly sets bak’d apart, though, is the love and care that Jess and Andy put into everything they do. They’re not just baking cookies — they’re building a community. Every visit feels personal, like you’re being welcomed by old friends. They remember your name, ask how you’re doing, and genuinely appreciate your support. It’s rare to find that kind of authenticity these days.

Their passion is obvious in every aspect of the business — from the branding and packaging to the curated flavors and quality ingredients. You can tell they care deeply about delivering not just an amazing product, but also a memorable experience.

In a city full of dessert spots, bak’d stands out as the gold standard. These are not your average cookies — they’re next-level, addictive, and unforgettable. Support local, eat the best, and treat yourself to the cookie experience you didn’t know you were missing.

Five stars, no question. Jess and Andy, you’ve created something truly special — keep...
