I go here lots with my grandmother and we usually love it and are pleasantly satisfied but unfortunately not today. My grandmother ordered one of their lunch box’s and asked for a Veggie roll in replacement of the California roll since she can’t have the one that comes with lunch box, the woman taking our order said yes and informed us that it would be a bit extra, we said that’s fine and paid then took our order home. We got home opened it up and my grandma saw she got the California roll, this wasn’t the problem. My grandma called them and started explaining what had happened and before my grandmother could finish they hung up on her, I found it rude but thought maybe it was an accident so I called them about 10 minutes later and they hung up on me immediately after I stated what had happened. I'm writing this after new management bought the place. The new owners decided to keep the same menu but prices were adjusted to cover inflation. That's fair. Where can you can get a lunch teriyaki box for $11.95? It includes teriyaki beef or chicken on a bed of rice, 6 California roll pieces and a salad. The teriyaki is delicious. Wished the rice was warmer and fresher but it is always lukewarm or cold. And it's not sushi rice, not anymore. The recipe is different from the previous owners. Taste isn't quite there but it's acceptable. Also have ordered the Combo box with 3 pieces of nigiri. Salmon, tuna and shrimp but don't ask for substitutes unless you want to pay a fee.
