I had to think about the stars. I just wanted to give 3, but the server was so nice and good, that I have to go with 4. This was our first time here. The pub/ restaurant/ sports bar crossover, makes a very clean impression. The upper room, were the bar is, seems to be where all the action takes place. There are several TVs on the walls, low tables, high tables and two bars to sit on. 7 kind of beers on draft and and a good menu, that does not just contain (thx God) fried food. I opted for a trout on pilaf with veggies, and my wife had the special Angus Beef. Actually, we are both wine drinkers, but there is no place to go to, like a wine bistro. So we go to pubs, once in a while. My Creemore beer (draft) was fantastic. It was perfectly chilled and very cold, the way I like it. Full bodied, rich in taste with a clear and bold beginning and a strong, tasty finish. I will have that any time again. My trout was served on plain rice, instead of a juicy pilaf. So the entire meal was really dry. Ii prompted the server on this mistake, and she offered me something else and promised to talk to the chef. I really wanted the fish. The meal was cooked to perfection.......just bone dry. So I flushed it down with the beer. My wife's beef was superb and she loved it. In regards of beer, she did not know what to have and could not make up her mind. The server brought her several samples, until my wife could settle for a choice. The server did this with dedication and a smile, totally sympathizing with my wife. THAT is 5 star service. Hope they have their menu in order, for when we come back.

The mug was frosty, the beer cold and the wings delicious! This spot is becoming our “must stop” spot on our treks to cottage country. On this visit the wing special was on so we went for the original style with Calm the heat sauce ( Franks hot and blue cheese). 🤤Got hooked on this sauce on Vancouver Island last year. You must try! If you like them really saucy, ask for more! The perch bites and fries are great too. Wonderfully friendly staff. Lots of local patrons so you know it’s the place to go. Try them out!

I can’t say enough great things about this pub! The staff are so friendly and amazing! The food is excellent and the specials are always delicious! The owner always goes out of her way to make sure our experience is the best! Jessica, Torian, Danielle and Ciara are the absolute sweetest and serve us the most!! The patio is beautiful and I love that it’s dog friendly!! We have been coming for 5+ years and will always continue to support our favourite place when we visit the cottage!!

I went for dinner last week and sat on their patio. I totally understand and see how hard the servers are working to manage an understaffed patio. The world is understaffed! However, we were there for over 3 hours. It took almost 45 mins before we were given our drinks and an additional 1.5 hours before we got our food - wings and potato skins. Not complicated. Others who arrived after us were served before. So while I empathize with being short staffed, a 3 hour visit was what we had planned for. We had to eat quickly so we could get home to our dog. The waitress kept saying it was due to staffing issues but I also feel there was a lack of coordination in general. We'll still visit again but this was a disappointment with little concern...

Waitress seemed to be trying to do too many things at once and forgetting about us. One quick example, we were waiting for our bill for over 15 mins, when she brought us the debit machine, she put it on the table and walked away, the machine had an error and we waited for 5 mins for her to come back, only for her to hand it to us and walk away again. At this point it was not busy but the tables all needed to be cleared, she was trying to clear them while serving us but we felt like she kept forgetting about us and we would have been able to leave 30 mins earlier if she would have just stopped and gave us 100% if her time while we were trying to pay. Food was and...
