Disappointed is an understatement. After a 2 hour hike, I decided to grab a smoothie. I opted for one of their "protein" smoothies on the menu. For a place that advertises protein smoothies, I found it very odd that the staff had absolutely zero idea of how many grams of protein the smoothie had. I asked them to check the nutrition facts label of the protein powder to clarify the grams but the staff told me they get the protein in bulk and do not have labels with that information. I was at a loss for words. I do also want to mention that the staff was almost shocked I was asking for the grams of protein, as if I was asking for information that is confidential. For a smoothie I spent almost $15 on, I could not comprehend the fact that they had no ability to know how much protein was in their "protein" smoothies. After I kept trying to get information, they informed me that it is 1 tablespoon of protein. How is 1 tablespoon considered a protein smoothie? ... After finishing my smoothie, I was left starving and feeling unsatisfied. Realistically, 1 tablespoon probably had 5 grams of protein which I feel is false advertising when calling it a protein smoothie. It honestly felt like I was drinking water because of the consistency and this is due to the lack of protein and substance. I feel ripped off and will not be coming here again due to the lack of knowledge as well as lack of value for the $13 I spent on a smoothie. Body energy club smoothies are $10 and their vegan protein powder has 30g of protein in a serving – much better value and leave you feeling full and satisfied.

This place has been on "the list" to check out for sometime. The food is great, vegan, with a real focus on healthy drinks such as protein shakes, fruit and vegetable mixtures. There are some 35 standards to select from and there is an addition 20 items you may add and customize your drink. There are also healthy shots! Tried a couple of healthy shakes including: "Vibrance-C" cold-pressed orange juice + pineapple + mango + banana + ginger + dates and, "Green Detox" alkalized H2O + kale + cucumber + lemon + ginger + avocado + chia seed. After that it was time to eat and have a coffee. Had the Americano Misto, the lentil soup of the day and a grilled vegetable vegan sandwich. Help yourself to the water bar and there are indoor and out tables to choose from. It's casual fare in a light atmosphere. Lots of folks coming and going. Noticed numerous customers popping in and taking away their selections. There is lots of free parking in the area and a great place to stroll down the hill to Lonsdale Quay. Great first experience here and thanks to the staff for a wonderful start to the day!

Nutrition-focused vegan cafe with entrees, smoothies and juice, coffee, and desserts. The cafe is super aesthetic with lots of plants, levelled bench seating, and swings. The staff was very friendly and patient while I was trying to decide what to order. I got: Caesar Butler chicken wrap: Soy curls, rice, corn, and lettuce with caesar dressing. Really flavourful and a healthy portion. Also came with a heaping side salad with a tasty dressing. Tiramisu: Raw dessert with coconut-based cream layered with a power bar sort of thing (a chewy bar, tasted like it was made with mainly dates and nuts) in place of the traditional lady fingers. Subtle espresso flavour and a bit of a saltiness in the crust. Pretty dense. A different take on tiramisu, but delicious! Iced soul starter latte: Steamed milk with raw cacao, yerba mate, and various adaptogens (chaga, maca, and more). Unique smoky flavour. Prices are a little high for fast casual food. My total was $30. If you're into this sort of alternative healthy eating you will probably love this place.

Good food but service is horrible. I much rather talk to a manager than leaving a review here but they seem super busy and honestly… I do think a change is needed! We ask for the food Togo and we told a girl at the counter that we will come back to grab our food. When we return our food was open faced on the counter, we asked them if this is our food and if so why? We were told they ran out of lids. I replied I wish this was relayed to us when we order, instead of leaving the food here out in the open, a blonde long hairs girl with a braid replied with a lot of attitude “well you’ve been gone for half hour” I said we told someone we would be back… the thing is, if I knew the food would be sitting in the counter face open for anyone to have direct contact I would not have left to do a quick grocery… when I asked for Togo I assume food will be in a container. Originally, they just told us they ran out of lids so I was supposed to walk away with two bowls in my car? It’s then I asked how am I supposed to drive with these… then they offered to wrap it for us. In today’s day and age, I truly appreciate quality food and I’ve always want to support businesses when I can but not at the cost of being treated poorly and the reason why I left to do a quick grocery is because I’ve always waited over 10 mins for ordering and getting 1 smoothie. I hope the business owners find this review helpful and understand the changes need to be done to create customer service’s experience. I do hope to visit the shop again, for healthy food and...

Went for lunch on Thursday June 7th and ordered one of the budda salads. Ate here 5 days in a row and introduced multiple new customers to the restaurant. However after the experience I had on Thursday, I won’t be going back. Dug into my salad and no cimichurri sauce on the rice and very little dressing on the salad. Eating kale and rice with very little dressing - not so tasty. I brought this to the attention to the girl behind the counter and she insisted 4 times that she personally made the salad and put the sauce on, then I asked her for more sauce and she again said she put the sauce on. This left me really frustrated as I paid $20 for a salad that did not taste like it did the last 5 times I ate it - bland at best. A few minutes later I gave the salad back and said I would not be returning as a customer. When the manager came out to speak with me, she indicated that they were out of the sauce. She apologized for the staff who she said was not properly trained. Apparently the girl behind the counter burst into tears and ran in the back. Not sure why you are hiring people that do not have customer service training - this could have easily been mitigated by offering more sauce or being straight that the sauce you usually use was finished. From a business prospective, leadership and training is missing. Not good vibes for a vegan eatery. I’m affraid you have lost my business and advocacy. Disappointing when you bring a decent product to the marketplace but it falls flat on consistency and...
