I'll start out by saying I've been to hundreds of Tim Hortons across Canada. The experience I had today was horrible. There was an old pilipino girl, taking orders at the drive-through. My order was simple and straightforward. I wanted two breakfast sandwiches and a strawberry smoothie....I was told to repeat my order several times....after she still couldn't hear me...supposedly? I drove up to tell her my order face-to-face....she seemed distracted and not focussing on taking the order. There were no loud noises. I had to repeat my order several times clearly and articulately. She still told me to repeat my order. I asked her "can you hear me?". She said "yes can you repeat the order". Once again, I repeated the order. I told her "I don't want to yell it to you"....she took a step back and looked very offended. She said "you want to yell at me!"....I didn't yell. I just asked her a question. She turned her back on me and walked away, and the manager came. I explained to the manager, how rude she was and how she couldn't take a simple order.....The manager said she will talk to the worker. I can understand through some intercoms. There may be background noise and they can't hear clearly. This was not the case. There was no background noise at my vehicle. There was no background noise at the window face-to-face. I honestly don't understand how some people can have a job dealing with the public....their whole job is just to listen and take the order. Seems like a pretty simple job. Unfortunately some people are not thinking about work while...
Read moreI use this location as it is very convenient when I go to work. In the past, they were awesome - when I pulled up to the drive-through they would already tell me my order and all I had to do was proceed to the window - it was correct 100% of the time.
However, over that past two months, the quality service has gone from poor to non-existent. I now have to repeat my order several times as they don't get it right, they neglect to prepare my order in full (even after yelling at the incompetent individual at the drive-through). I always get large coffee with 2 cream, and always get sugar added (every time). When I ask for my hockey cards they look at me and say "did you order them?" I look dismissively at the individual with the head phone attached to his head (the one used to answer the drive-through orders) and just say "never mind" as I drive away.
Eventhough the same lady usually serves me my coffee, she never (ever) gives me a sleeve. I always have to ask for it. She also rarely looks at me, and most of the staff are so lazy they present the impression they don't want to work. Rarely am I ever greeted and rarely do they wish me a "good day". The drive through window is closed the moment I receive my order.
I no longer go to this location as it is more frustrating than efficient and I am saddened as the previous staff...
Read moreThe absolute WORST location. I live in Deep Cove so there’s not a lot of fast breakfast options. Whenever I do go to this location I INSTANTLY regret it because they can never get an order right. This morning I asked for a chicken wrap, was asked if I wanted crispy or grilled and for whatever reason that is beyond me, I was given a sausage wrap? When I got home and realized I went back and asked to speak to a manager. When I told the manager that this happens CONSTANTLY I was met with disrespectful tone and rudeness from the manager. She offered no solution to the problem other than for me to not come to this location anymore. It is absolutely unacceptable that a drive thru messes constantly would have so much attitude about THEMSELVES messing up people’s order. I worked in food myself for 5 years, it is not that hard to get peoples orders right especially when they tell you exactly what they want. Staff at this location should honestly either be fired or re-trained or they should look for some simpler jobs since they clearly can’t handle a simple...
