Dairy Queen — Restaurant in District of North Vancouver

Very disappointed in the service and the way they make their products at this location. The Peanut Buster Parfitt is a poor excuse here. I spoke to the manager about this and he said this is the way it is supposed to be. I have been going to DQ for about 40 years (Yes, 40 years) and getting the same thing. I expect my favorite treat to not look like it was scooped off the floor and have the proper amount of stuff in it. BTW, it was the manager who made it... Then he came out with a new one after a got my money back and showed me an example of how he was going to make them from now on. (Not to replace it... just to show me) He is just going to put the fudge on the outside so you can see it and leave it out of the center. I would rather drive out of my way to get a DQ somewhere else or if in Lynn Valley, go somewhere else.

The other food is equally as poorly made. I wrote to DQ head office and the sent my info to the Lynn Valley manager just to have him call me at 9:45PM. I did not answer because I didn't want to get into it with someone that late.

This location is the worst DQ I have been and I have heard others complain when picking up their order as well. Don't settle... demand consistency...

The best burgers in town! (In addition to ice cream treats). This is a top notch Dairy Queen, every other store needs to be like this, because if they all were, nobody would eat burgers at Wendy's, McDonald's, Harvey's, A&W, Burger King(their flame grilled actually tastes like burnt food), Vera's, Brown's, cactus club, etc, try it and you'll see why, people will just go to Dairy Queen, it beats them all. It's in part due to the employees, they know what they are doing. The employees here are amazing. Friendly and fast service. They also grill up the perfect burgers right when you order, hot and juicy. Best flavour you can get, blows other burger joints out of the water. Battered onion rings are also crispy and delicious, they wait until right before they serve you to fry them, so nothing is cold, it's all fresh and delicious. This is the way good food should be served, not from a warming tray like other joints. It's slower but worth the wait. Keep up the good work! First off, full disclosure: I only stopped by this location because pizza hut was open at noon and I didn't want to wait. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger, poutine and milkshake. I was told about 7 minutes. 10 minutes later the worker puts my milkshake on the counter and another customer picks it up gazes into the drink like he was searching for the meaning of life for a few moments and states that it wasn't what he ordered. In today's times, these workers should have not allowed this to happen and ended giving me my milkshake afterwards. I waited another 10 minutes until my order was complete. On a positive note my food was cooked properly, but the fact some other customer was allowed to be fondling my drink and breathing into it just set me off on ever returning.
