I have to say the food was good and all the waiters/waitresses were nice. BUT, the manager working on January 12, 2019 night was a horrible person. Thanks to him we got a small table for four adults. See the picture. We wanted to share the food but instead we had to eat from each others plates as there were no space in the table for plates. When I asked for a bigger table they said "no we are busy" but I saw they gave bigger tables for couples. I don't like to say this but the manager was racist. When we entered the restaurant the girls at the front desk were so nice and asked us to stay inside until they give us a table. Then the stupid manager went by and asked in an arrogant way "why are u standing here, have you give your name to the front desk" and some other rude questions. Then I told him we were asked to stay here by the girls at the front. Then he went and said something to the girls at the front desk and immediately after that we were given a small table. I was initially OK with it but then I realized they gave bigger tables to other people who had smaller groups than us. Then I asked the waitresses for a bigger table which was next to us but she said its already been taken. Then I saw a couple came and sat on that. I hate when restaurants treat people differently.

Please go to other restaurants at the Grouse...

I've eaten on a lot of mountains so I know not to expect too much, but even with expectations suitably lowered, I found the poutine to be GRIM - I highly recommend you avoid. It seems whoever designed this menu has not tasted the food - and my gripe is mainly with the way the the poutine is served in a tall narrow pot with watery gravy filled to at least halfway. There's a couple of un-drenched fries on top but the rest just constitutes a soggy fry soup. I was hungry after my hike but I quickly lost my appetite. It might be a while until I can eat poutine again after this. The chai latte is also waaaay too sweet. I don't like to leave bad reviews but this was a $20...

The worse food that you could imagine are serving at Lupin’s Cafe in the grouse Mountain! For ski lessons, I am taking my kids including his classmates to this place, we have tried in different days and variety of foods like pizza, fries, chicken strips, burgers for every single day’s, it was worse food experience ever! The people coming here to exercise and enjoy the nature, but when it comes to food it’s unhealthy food giving to the people! I am not sure what type of oil they are using in frying fries or type of cheese they are using it’s oily and disgusting, the burger uncooked and testless! Wishing someone to check their foods! No deserves even...

Food was terrible and to make it worse they charged like they're in Whistler. The hotdog I had felt like it still had its plastic wrapping on and the bun was both stale and cold. The poutine had the required fries, gravy and cheese curds however the extra 2 lbs of salt wasn't necessary. To add insult to injury they charged 27 bucks for it. We sat next to a fella that cycled up and he the burger. Took one bite and said he wouldn't put his body through the trauma of earing the whole thing. And he cycled up the mountain!! I'd recommend dropping the prices to a quarter of what they are now or start serving real food.

The food was pretty mid at best. The Canadian hot dog itself was decent, but the bun was dry dry dry. The poutine was decent, but nothing to write home about. We also had their pizza which was like eating cardboard. But after that brutal Grouse Grind, food is food. At least they have some beers and Powerade to quench your thirst. Theres a decent amount of outdoor seating, so you can pick and choose to sit wherever. People are constantly coming and going, so it wasn’t difficult to find a spot.

Nice Cafe on top of Grouse mountain. I found the service to be good. The server was friendly and attentive. I only ordered a iced coffee and a chocolate oatmeal square. I was happy with my selection and the square was tasty. It was mid afternoon during a week day so it was quiet. We sat out on the deck and it was awesome to sit and enjoy the fantastic views. There are washroom facilities available here. I was happy with the whole experience.
