Hi Everyone. THIS WAS A TOTAL DISASTER.
I’ve endured my share of fast-food letdowns, but nothing could have prepared me for the cataclysm that unfolded at this Wendy’s. It was as if fate itself conspired to plunge me into a vortex of errors and neglect—a veritable fast-food apocalypse.
It began innocently enough. I approached the counter, placed my order, and the cashier confidently repeated it back. I believed my hunger would soon be sated. Instead, I was handed a bag containing a meal completely alien to what I’d requested. With a mix of disbelief and determination, I returned to the counter. The cashier’s eyes widened in a baffled, almost cosmic confusion—as if I’d asked her to unravel the mysteries of the universe rather than simply fix my order.
But the nightmare was only beginning. I was forced to return not once, not twice, but FOUR agonizing times. Each trip to the counter revealed another fresh betrayal—a new bag with an order that was even more wrong than the last. With every mistake, my frustration mounted. How could such incompetence persist, transforming my simple meal into an unholy parade of errors?
And then, the calamities multiplied. The ice machine was broken, condemning my drink to a tepid existence; the ketchup dispenser was EMPTY, a barren wasteland devoid of the red elixir that should have accompanied my fries; and, as if mocking the very notion of convenience, there were NO STRAWS at all—not even the feeble, despised paper ones everyone complains about. To top it all off, they forgot my lettuce, stripping away the last vestige of what could have been a redeeming meal.
In the midst of this chaos, one tiny detail shone like a dim beacon—Mr. Pibb was available. A fleeting comfort in an otherwise apocalyptic scene. Yet even that solitary mercy was drowned out by the relentless barrage of failures. It wasn’t just a mistake; it was culinary genocide—a systematic obliteration of my expectations, my appetite, and my hope for a decent meal.
This isn’t merely a recounting of errors; it is an epic tragedy—a dire warning to any who might dare venture into this vortex of fast-food despair. Every misstep, every empty dispenser, every lost straw and forgotten lettuce converged into one unmitigated disaster. May my tale serve as a cautionary chronicle of a day when even the simplest meal descended into an unholy nightmare.
Will I go back? Probably. Would I recommend this place? Would you...
Read moreLet's be very clear for all of my fellow foodies out there - this restaurant is not "fast food" or even "quick service". This is a highly tailored, streamlined dining experience. Personally, I was lucky to get in due to the size of the line. I might have had to mention I was an influencer wink wink on both Yelp! and Instagram (TM).
When you enter, ask the matre-d what the chef recommends that day. During my visit it was the "Spicy Chicken Sandwich" and I was informed there was a limited run based on available farm-to-table ingredients. Boy was I lucky - it was prepared fresh by the gifted young chef, "Braydon", and promptly brought to me by an extremely professional waiter "Ghazal".
The plating was impeccable, as if the foil was designed for my personal sandwich itself. Absolutely to die for. The sauce must be truffle infused because it was heavenly. The bun was clearly artisan, I think from a local bakery on Lonsdale. The tomato had to have been grown that day and I could ABSOLUTELY tell that the chicken used to make the sandwich was the alpha of the roost. A prime specimen, surely.
I cannot say enough positive things about this experience. I will be returning, that is, if I am lucky enough to get in again wink wink!

Read moreI find food quality/taste is the same at almost all Wendy's and the only differences I notice are generally in the service, etc. This Wendy's location seems to be a little slower to have food ready than most, which is why I never go through the drive through if there are already 2 or 3 cars in line. It is faster to go inside. There are often mistakes in the drive through here as they often they miss an item I order and I have to add it at the window when I'm paying. Don't forget to check for salad dressings in your order as I've driven away missing that and had to go inside. This is another reason I prefer to go inside to order because I can correct it on the spot. Don't get me wrong... the staff is very friendly, but appear frustrated when I point out something missing (such as salad dressing). I always try to do it in a nice way, so it's likely they are just overworked or understaffed. Please be kind to service staff everywhere. Everyone makes mistakes especially when in a...
