ÔRA Cafe & Cocktail — Restaurant in Dorval

What a beutiful cafe nook in Dorval - one that blew my mind when I first discovered it. Ôra has made such a beautiful environent to enjoy a fine variety of foods and drinks. My wife and I went in and got ourselves a Brazillian Coffee; It was phenomenal. I can't begin to explain how beautiful their back yard (exterior) sitting area is... It's whimsical, beautiful, comforting, and just such a pleasure to enjoy. If you're looking for one of those nooks where you can enjoy a wide variety of fantastic choices, please give this place a shot. We went at night, and it as a very memorable experience - I suggest you pick up a nice ice cream at Safari next door and then swing by Ôra for a delicious coffee (alchoholic or not), you won't be disappointed. If ice cream isn't your thing then just slide right in! There are seats indoors, extrior seating at the front and back - but the back is just magical - again, highly recommend.

We held an event at the Ora Cafe in October 2024 and it was absolutely perfect.

The owner went above and beyond. He was responsive to all our questions in a timely manner. You can tell her really cares about the cafe.

The event was in the evening and the owner ensured all the heaters outside were working. He also provided blankets.

The outdoor terrace is a dream at night. Very cozy and perfectly lit.

The service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and caring.

Parking is not a problem at all and there is a lot of 24hr parking nearby.

Last but not least.....the food was incredible. We still have guests talking about the sandwiches and pasta salad to this day.

My friend and I decided to grab ice cream next door and when we came out to sit there wasnt any room on the terrace of the ice cream shop so seeing that the coffee shop was closed, we decided it wouldnt be a problem if we sat down there. Everything was fine until the owner(im guessing by the way he held himself) came out and said “Can we bring you guys menus” knowing damn well his shop was closed. We then said we apologize and got up. He said “You guys knew damn well what you were doing leave”. Hes gotta be up there with the top 3 rudest encounters ive had. Also always wanted to support local places like these but after the experience I just had ill make sure to tell people not to come here. He could of said it in 1000 more polite ways.
