We have seen this food truck around for quite a while, but only just went today because my partner saw the phat Mac and he wanted to try it so today was the day. ZERO DISAPPOINTMENT!! for starters you can see inside the truck, working spaces were all clean, tidy, organized, I didn't feel squeamish about trying it out. I went with the spicy burger, partner went with phat mac, and got a ,kids burger for my almost 2 yr old. Partner LOVED his phat mac he said it really did taste like a real big mac but better since the patties are home made not store bought, he finished his before we even left the parking lot. My sons burger is great he's eating it now, great size, simple. Mine! I was torn between spicy burger and the bacon bomb, now I don't even know if I will be able to try the bacon bomb because the spicy burger is so good I can't see me ordering anything else!! If you don't like spicy food, obviously not the burger for you...if you're like me and love love love spicy food, this is great! Perfect amount of burn, not so much you can't taste food anymore, the secret sauce is a great addition with the jalapeños and I LOVE the in house kettle cooked chips it's topped with, gives a great crunch factor. I would order those chips on the side just to eat them! We hands down will be back, was better than I ever expected. Food trucks are so hit or miss in the Valley, for us this one was a home run. The cleanliness, organization and quality of food were all on point. Kudos to Phat Bastards! **new edit - the street corn is amazing!! Another must try for anyone who hasnt yet. My son loves it he's not even 2 yet**

I recently had the chance to try Phat Bastard Eats, a food truck hidden in the middle of a construction area—and it was worth the find! Despite being new and not too crowded, this spot serves up some unforgettable burgers. Smash Factor (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): The burgers here are amazing. They use a “smash” technique on the grill that creates a crispy, caramelized edge while keeping the inside juicy and tender. Each bite is packed with flavor! Variety (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): The menu has something for everyone, from classic cheeseburgers to unique gourmet options. You can customize your burger however you like, making it easy to build your perfect bite. Sides (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): Their sides are just as impressive. The street corn, topped with a Cheeto coating, is a standout—crunchy, cheesy, and totally unique. I’m excited to try the potato salad next time! Atmosphere and Service (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️): For a spot in a construction zone, it felt surprisingly cozy. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the aroma of sizzling burgers set a great vibe. In short, Phat Bastard Eats offers incredible smash burgers and creative sides that make it a must-try. Even though it’s tucked away, this food truck is bound to become a favorite. Don’t miss out on their mouthwatering burgers—you won’t regret it!

Hands down one of the best burger places! If you are looking for the best smash style burgers this is where to come. Took a 45 minute drive from Victoria to Duncan to have their burgers. Two gentlemen in the food-truck, serving mouth watering burgers. Recommend: 1. Philly steak burger: just as advertised, a burst of flavors, gets a bit messy in the hand, just like how an awesome burger should be. 2. Chef special: double beef patty madness, with jalapeño pepper, a bit on the spicier end. 3. Spicy barbecue: barbecue flavour burger with barbecue chips in it. Their prices are also very reasonable. Minimum 10 dollars and a maximum of 15 dollars, the burgers served are perfect. I got my craving for the best burgers met, and while we were there, many customers came to have lunch. These guys have perfected their craft in making the best beef burgers and I’m pretty sure they have been through trial and error to make it perfect as they have it now. They only serve burgers and they have perfected their art. Will definitely be visiting again to have some other burgers at Phat Bastard Eats. Note: Real Canadian Superstore, Staples, Sportchek, Pet Smart, Winners and other amenities are just across the road!
