A&W Canada — Restaurant in Edmonton

I enjoy ordering a 5 patty hamber, a Grandpa Burger with 2 extra patties, put that with a poutine or Onion rings is awesome. Now I was here with a friend of mine. My friend has no patience most of the time. The situation is that we made an order and it was all mixed up. Apparently the young woman at the order box that was taking the order had combined our 2 orders. Now my friend tried to tell her 2 times at the box that there was 2 orders. Then he proceeded with doing his order first. Then told her for the second time that he was done and the 2nd order was ready to order. Now maybe the bix was not working good enough at the time but when she had both orders mixed up again, my friend lost it and drove up to the take out window. Then he had called her names and also proceeded to ask for the manager. Told the manager that she should be fired. Now the service is a little slower then most places. However my friend went over board when he decided to call one of the females there a nimrod. To me that should have never happened. I really hope that the person that was working that night still is working there. For she did not deserve what my friend had said to her. M!. My friend mentioned also about getting her fired and that was not right. I hope she is still working there. I am so sorry for my friends attitude but there was not...

I have been going here for a very long time we are regular costumers at this location.. and I must say I am very disappointed with the staff during closing time ... I am aware that we did get there a bit late yesterday night got there about 20 minutes before closing but we were hungry and I had a very long day so thought we could get a bite to eat but when we ordered our food the staff wouldn't stop hounding us that they close at 10 they kept repeating it felt that was rude .. and than to top it off while we were eating the staff kept staring at us and saying things that I didn't understand and I knew they were talking about us... the atmosphere was not good at all ! We felt unwelcomed! At all the other locations and restaurants do not treat costumers like that during closing time they let there costumers eat calmly and than leave soon after done eating.. I ended up eating my food outside ! We felt kicked out that's not cool at all! I will be calling to make a complaint.. because the stares and the whispers was not kind at all very...

my friends and I dropped by right before church on last Sunday Dec. 11th 2022 at around 6:30PM and ordered some fries with our meal and we witnessed the lady pick up the fries with her bare hands without gloves on and as we asked if they use gloves to handle food, they said yes although we did not see them do that. They denied us when we said it but we requested for new fries that was not handled with hand. However, we saw them put the fries that we rejected back in the fry section and the same fries that we rejected was used with a person in the drive through which was extremely disappointing and was the reason that made us right this review. We would have stayed silent if they did not re-use it on somebody else, but imagine if you were the ones to receive those fries that had been contaminated with bacteria. We are still in the midst of a pandemic and although its slowly going away, germs are still everywhere. We hope to see improvements with the restaurant’s performance and the guest experience that...
