Came here for the first time the other week, had a decent experience. The line was pretty long but it’s a trendy place so I expected it and didn’t mind waiting. The girls who started off my pizza were excellent; they addressed me by name and were so friendly and polite! I was actually shocked at how nice they were. I ended up only putting two toppings on my pizza so they charged me less which was nice. Friendly awesome experience up until the end.
The girl working at the hand off, a younger girl with an eyebrow piercing, while cutting the pizzas and putting them in boxes looked absolutely miserable. She was audibly sighing and looked overall like she hated her job. She just kind of lifelessly slammed the boxes onto the top counter and yelled out a name, and then went back to what she was doing. I said thank you and didn’t even get a response back.
My pizza tasted great and overall it was a decent experience, although a bit sour at the end. Hopefully this employee was just having an off day or something. Next time I go back I hope it’ll be...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I LOVED going to this place when it first opened. The pizza was amazing. Unfortunately the quality has gone extremely downhill. My last 3 orders have all been burnt completely black on the bottom. Tonight when I went to get it replaced I come home and lift up my pizza edge. Guess what? Black. I was eating here close to once a week but after tonight I won't be back ever again. It's really unfortunate because it's a great concept and the pizza was delicious when it wasn't burnt to a crisp. There are some really great staff members there which makes me feel bad even leaving this review, but with blazes popularity the oven station is not working. There needs to be a separate person working the oven from the one doing the cutting and boxing. This would completely eliminate the problem. I've felt really bad each time it happens, but now it's to the point where it's like okay guys this shouldn't still be happening. Please consider my suggestion moving...
Read moreLack of Basic Human Decency
I’m deeply disappointed by the selfish policy at this location. When I asked to use their restroom in a moment of need, I was coldly told it was "only for customers." Restrooms are a basic human necessity, not a luxury reserved for paying customers. What if someone has a medical condition (diabetes, kidney issues, etc.) and can’t "hold it" until after they order?
This kind of policy shows a complete lack of empathy. Businesses that rely on community support should extend basic courtesy to the public, especially when it costs them nothing. Instead of supporting this place, I took my money to a competitor (Nando’s) where I was treated like a human being and happily spent my money there instead.
Until this location learns compassion, I’ll ensure neither I nor anyone I know spends a dime here. Profit should never come before basic human dignity. Shame on the owners/managers for such a...
