Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes - Grange — Restaurant in Edmonton

Today we ordered Mushroom Swiss Buger combo, and a grilled chicken burger combo with with Fries. I also got a peanut butter shake on the side.

The Mushroom Swiss Burger was very good. It's hard to infuse a mushroomy type flavour into any burger and I have to say it was done very well compared to other places. The burger meat was salted and peppered to taste at the right amount. The brioche buns are always a treat!

The Grilled Chicken Burger was ok. Not enough chicken ratio to bun for the price and it was a little dry. Great secret sauce tho! McDonalds just dropped their Grilled Chicken Wrap option from their menu and there are a lot of health concious people looking for a healthy takeout option. Boardwalk here on Guardian Road could take advantage of the open niche.

The fries were plain which looks intentional in the "if u want salt to spice them up", they let you salt your own to taste. Which I consider very considerate seeing at there are people who don't like to add salt to their fries. They could do for a double dip fryer cooking option to instill a bit more flavour though. That being said, they were between ok and good.

The Peanutbutter shake was very peanut buttery! It's really great! I highly recommend.

The service though; The gentleman who took our order is A+! You can tell he has that level of care that you know he will take care of you. That's a genuine feeling you don't see much in this industry anymore. Plus, he answers every single review... that's a special quality these days.

To summarize, we will be back for sure to try out more options. I rate this a 4 out of 5 currently. It would be 5 based on a meatier grilled chicken ratio.

Overpriced and not good quality to summarize.

Case in point: $47 for 2 burgers and chicken fingers, yam fries and poutine. Not affordable (or good!!!!) for a family.

food was overcooked, soggy and gross and portions were small and overpriced.

mushrooms for the mushroom burger were canned. CANNED. Yuck.

the chicken fingers at Costco are more than half the price, fresher and actually come with adequate dipping sauce

all fries were soggy. We threw out the yam fries because they weren't even edible. 🤢

wait time was 1/2 hour. Not worth the time.

No affiliation but Monty's Pizza across the road in lewis estates is MUCH better, more affordable and actually uses good ingredients.

We won't go again. Not sure how long this place will last. We are trying to support local but this was beyond gross...

It was getting later in the evening after about 7:30 - 8:00. I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker and was looking at the menu and just not sure what I wanted. The gentleman on the other end was very helpful lol. He must have thought I was crazy but he had the patience for me and we came up with the perfect meal for what I was looking for.

The food was delicious, absolutely delicious and fresh! I do like my burger cooked more well done than what most restaurants like to do, it was cooked perfectly to my liking.

I will definitely be back!! I like a fresh hamburger not a frozen patty there is a huge difference.
