Bulk Barn — Restaurant in Edmonton

Has great selection. The staff I think her name is Janet didn't have a name tag on, was extremely rude today July 29, I have never seen a rude sale associate like her. All of the sudden she came and told my 4 years old dtr with a raised voice don't touch anyhting, my dtr was beside me without telling me and she raised her voice at a child which she has no right even if she touched, she should have told me the parent. I said sorry but I don't think she did touch it cuz she was beside me. She started arguing told me you are calling me a liar which I didnt use the word liar and she said there is camera I said fair enough let's the check the camera I am sure she didn't touch cuz I go there most of the time with my kids. It was my first time seeing this employee. She told me she can't check now and I asked if I could talk to the manager she said she is on holidays coming back on Monday. She was very loud then told me I refuse to serve you and ask the other employee a guy to do the transaction she went to the back saying good bye honey repeating. I had my camera out to record unfortunately I didn't press recording . She came back holding her cell phone camera and told me I am going to record you I said that's fine go a head. She kept repeating goodbye goodbye it was so disturbing for me I was paying cash then I could even count proper and I didn't want my kids to see her yelling and learn from her behavior I left the store. My dtr cried for an hour cuz she was scared and terrified by her. I am writing this review for bulk barn to take action. I usually see the customer getting upset at employee which I am against it and today she was yelling at me and my kids. I like the check camera on Monday with the store manager and they can see her in the camera coming up to my 4 year old dtr. Please bulk bark...

I have to say .. this was my first and last visit at this store . I had come into this store with my mom for the first time at this location , I’m a fan of the products and have always loved “Bulk barn “ but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had in any retail store ever .. not only is the two white older women ignorant but don’t seem to care for people being in their store , the manager I asked to speak to after the nasty cashier was extremely rude to myself and my mom did absolutely nothing… just said “ ok “ . we went to speak to the manager to tell her how ignorant the cashier was to us but she didn’t seem to care or do anything about it … i simply told her what the cashier and the way she barked at myself and my mom and I said this was the first and last time I’ll be in the store after how I was treated today she shrugged it off and went on with what she was doing .

I guess having a terrible attitude and , terrible customer service is the new thing ??

Don’t bother going to this location , the staff our more annoyed with you being in the store and touching things you buy for some reason …

Bulk barn has a great location just off 82 ave and 104 street the staff they’re very happy to have your business and very helpful , polite and actually help and greet...

The ladies working today we're so pleasant to shop and chat with! They were so helpful and they looked like they enjoyed working together with each other. I even commented they seemed like they would be a blast to work with. We had a great quick chat at the counter!! Thanks for brightening my day when I could definitely use some cheer lately!! It was refreshing to see people enjoying their jobs during these times instead of coming across your typical miserable employee that doesn't want to work.
