I recently visited this Carl's Jr. location after checking Google Maps, which showed they were open until midnight. After a 15-minute drive, I pulled up to the drive-thru menu, waited, and realized no one was there to take my order. When I drove up to the drive-thru window, I noticed a small sign stating they were actually closed at 10:30 p.m. due to holiday hours for Remembrance Day, though it was hard to read from a distance. It was also strange that all the lights for the drive-thru menu were fully lit up, as if they were open.
It’s surprising and frustrating that in today’s world, a business wouldn’t take a few minutes to update their holiday hours on Google Maps, especially when it’s so easy to do. As a small business owner myself, I know how important it is to keep this kind of information current since so many customers rely on it. Also, most places would put a barricade or sign at the drive-thru entrance to let customers know they’re closed.
I wasted 30 minutes of my time driving to and from a location that was closed because someone couldn’t bother to update Google Maps, and I'm also out the fuel for this drive for nothing. Given the high cost of fuel, this situation feels even more frustrating. I’m sure many others have had the same experience, and it’s hard to imagine they’ll be returning anytime...
Read moreWhat the hell happened to Carl's Jr? I feel like not so long ago, they were really good. But over the more recent years they have turned into absolutely inedible overpriced burgers...
The patties tastes like frozen store bought patties, even though they were allegedly "angus". And not even good store bought patties, bland, dry, yet at the same time somehow also pouring liquid (water) not juice or grease even, almost sponge like, and their prices just keep climbing. I don't expect them to stay in business much longer, five guys and others are so far ahead of them it's not even close.
The server was friendly and tried to apologize and such.
But my pops, a man who LOVES to eat, literally ate one bite and said are you kidding me? I have never in my entire life seen him throw away food or leftovers, let alone 99% of a 15$ combo burger.
The jalapeño poppers are literally the only thing worth ordering, and honestly top 3 ive ever had, but unless you stopping by to buy a bunch of those, I wouldn't even waste your time.
My biggest regret is that I have to give this even 1...
Read moreIt's been years since I went to a Carl's Junior because I used to go to the one on the West end because I live close by. Decided to check out this location because me and my girlfriend we're looking for a late night snack.
It's in a good location and the staff were friendly but the food was just not good at all. She had a chicken burger combo and I had a triple Patty Carl's Junior Burger combo and there was no flavor at all it was so bland. I felt like it was worse than Burger King! The fries in the combo it came with was super tiny and not good at all and flavorless as well and not hot. Like headlamp fries..
It's too bad, I never remembered Carl's Junior being this bad before. On top of that the guy didn't even give us napkins on a $35 order for two people but we paid for the bag. I'll probably never ever come back here. It was really that bad. We regret every minute of taking everybody trying not to waste the money that we spent in our car. We both agreed that it was horrible and to never come back. Should have just...
