Chachi's Southgate Centre — Restaurant in Edmonton

The service was fine, but the food is quite questionable. I ordered carbonara and there were no signs that it would appear macaroni (that tasted cheap) with burnt bacon on the top and a little drizzle of Parmesan. I guess the sauce is something like cheese whiz? What I'm saying is that I can understand using cheaper ingredients at the food court but the names listed on the menu don't match with the food you get. You have macaroni and cheese on the menu, why do you add carbonara if its name is the only thing which reminds a customer that one ordered exactly carbonara? Getting completely different thing from what you ordered immediately spoils all the impressions. What if sandwiches with brie would appear a sandwich with laughing cow cheese at...

Ordered their Smoked Meat and Iced coffee.

The good: Iced coffee was flavorful and delicious with the banana cream on top as a perfect complement for the coffee.

The Bad: The bread for the smoked meat was soggy and mushy. When they handed me the box it felt like its been sitting in a steamer. They also tossed a wet pickle on top of the sandwich making the top mushy.

It was my first time ordering from this location, and I had a lovely experience. The young lady who assisted me was so friendly and the service was very good. She was very attentive of my request for no jalapeños. A job well done. I tried their new menu item the ginger beef sandwich. Let me tell you it is to die for! Soo good.
