COBS Bread — Restaurant in Edmonton

Now I feel in the Christmas spirit!! I was prepping for the upcoming week and was on the hunt for some buns for my son's lunches. I popped into COBS and was instantly impressed with their COVID-19 protocols. It didn't feel like a free-for-all like many of the larger stores (which really stresses me out)! I was greeted by a friendly young woman who informed me about her favorite buns there. They were fresh, white buns with fiber mixed into them. For those kids who may be on the picky side, like my son, you get the best of both worlds!! I was sold!! While I was indulging in also purchasing their delicious, chocolate croissants..... she pulled out this cute little box and asked if I would like to try their eggnog scones. I agreed and she put it my bag with the rest of my items. Soooooo I'm not a scone eating person on the regular BUT these are AMAZING!! I got home, heated up a chocolate croissant for my son with warm milk and the scone for me with a good ole cup of organic coffee...I drink coffee daily so why not a healthier choice :) Thanks COBS for spreading the love!! I think this still might be a good holiday season...

I placed an over $100 order online on January 2, 2023 for 6pm pick up. I got a call at noon saying they didn’t have all the items and someone would call me back to discuss shortly. I called at 4pm to confirm I could pick up still and was told my order was cancelled and I would be refunded. By January 11th, I did not receive a refund so I called the store who couldn’t even provide a number to call but just told me to look on the website. The lack of care and concern for their lack of ability to provide the goods they offered was disappointing. After finding a place to reach out on the website, I emailed on January 11th. I finally got a response on January 17th requesting almost all the information I provided in my email which I replied to right away. It is now January 25th, still no refund and now I will have to call my credit card to dispute the charges. I would suggest skipping the online order service and maybe shopping at another location that is willing to care when they can’t provide a...

Love Cobs' bread, especially their Challah bread; but I noticed in the last few months they haven't been made quite the same, not as soft/pillowy, more disappointingly dry and flat. Not sure if they've changed the recipe or baker; but the Challah bread just hasn't been the same at this location. Other locations are definitely better for Challah. Bring back the better Challah!! I don't want to have to drive to Riverbend to...
