Zia is polite and hospitable. But the angry-looking girl with the pony-tail, is very rude and stuck the middle finger at me as I walked out of the Coffee Shop.
I have done absolutely nothing wrong, other than pass by for a fleeting 5 seconds, but this woman, who's name i don't quite know as she has always been quite when I'd greet her.
I always thought that was just her quirk and personality-trait; and didn't think about it too much, as that would have been completely fine and chill, if that were the case.
The evident Hate and animosity she felt towards me, all came out in one day: she randomly shouted at me "You can't be coming in here anymore!" And to my surprise; she got more petty, as the next day, she locked the main entrance door when she noticed me approaching by.
I've been comingng to this Coffee shop for years; either to buy an item, or pass by to the exit that leads to this Beautiful neighbourhood in Downtown Edmonton.
I had read a comment that said "Immature staff" when briefly reading the reviews of Credo Coffee shop; and with the exception of Zia (the other girls just kept quite and observed this agressive harrasment by this Staff member take place. One even laughed).
I am honestly very emberrased by the sheer unprofessionalism inflicted upon Me. I feel icky to be a part of this...
Read moreI recently visited Credo Coffee for a quick coffee meeting, and overall, I had a lovely experience. I arrived a bit early, so I ordered my coffee right away, and the timing couldn’t have been better. It was a bit chilly that day, and having my coffee served promptly was such a comfort. I also loved their coffee cups—they’re not only aesthetically pleasing but add a little extra charm to the experience.
As I waited for my friend to arrive, I noticed that seating is somewhat limited, especially during busier hours. I had hoped to snag a spot on the cozy, cushioned chair, but it was already occupied, so I settled for the high stools. While they’re perfectly fine, I do wish there were more seating options available to make it easier to find your preferred spot, especially when it’s busy.
Despite the compact layout, Credo Coffee has a nice, private vibe that makes it great for casual chats or even solo work sessions if you’re looking for a quieter atmosphere. I didn’t get a chance to try their food selection, but it looked tempting, so I’m definitely planning to sample some next time I visit. Overall, it’s a cute little spot for a quick coffee catch-up or a bit...
Read moreThe fact that reviews speaking of actual discriminating experiences get deleted or hidden by management speaks miles.
Previous reviews as well as owners of other establishments can attest to Credo Coffee’s racist and classist attitudes. There are much better, and nicer, cafes you can go to that actually care.
Staff and owner’s treatment of houseless individuals is heartless and so sad to see. I went in to purchase a coffee for a very nice and polite man — and the entire establishment’s vibe changed and the staff were glaring at us from the doorway. Apparently there was an ‘incident’ where a previous individual was a bought a coffee and fell asleep in the store. Said individual accidentally knocked over a coffee and apparently, to the staff, that is an unforgivable offence. So clumsy people — avoid this store for if you spill even a drop you shall be banished to the common people realm!!
Anyways! This is a place where clearly only the rich blessed divine settlers are allowed. Anyone they deem unseemly or anyone that doesn’t have a fat wallet sticking out of their pants will be ostracized and made to feel ashamed for even thinking to step...
