A very nice place to enjoy a hockey game. The staff are mostly all very friendly, and the process of scanning the vaccine QR code is quick and very efficient. The only complaint I would have would be from one staff member at the concessions. She was just rude for lack of a better word, made it seem like she was inconvenienced to help my son and I out buying popcorn and some sodas. Sorry we weren't buying $100 of beer, but we are still paying customers and deserve to be treated with the same amount of respect and she was giving the guy before us and the guy that she started to help as we were still there. I would go back of course to this venue and plan on doing so in the future, I will just make sure to see one of the friendlier staff at the concessions as the others were very happy to help us with other snacks we purchased later in the evening. The seating is very nice and comfortable as well, and the rest of the staff are amazing people, making sure everyone is having a...

Decided to catch an Edmonton Oilers game at Rogers Place which of course is located in Edmonton's Ice District. This seems appropriate at it was -36C outside. The district is not completed yet, a work in progress. There are many restaurants and pubs in the area one can take advantage of prior to or post game. We dined at the Lux (see other review) in nearby Commerce Place and used the pedways to enter the arena which also crossed through 2 hotels (Sutton Place and JW Marriott). There is ample parking and an LRT station in the area in case you want to use public transportation. If there is a hockey game or other large scale entertainment event in the arena, traffic can be a challenge however it almost ends as soon as it starts. Of course, if you are considering a romantic evening out with your significant other, why not take advantage of the nearby hotels, have a fine meal, attend an event, and walk back to your hotel. Also makes for a nice...

Showed up with a group of 6 to watch game #4 Stanley cup finals asked to be in view of the hockey game, mid way through the first period manager changes the only tv in our view for the UFC pre fights, when we asked the server to change the channel to the hockey game we where currently watching we where told the tv didn’t work properly and couldn’t be changed, we proceeded to tell our server that the manager just changed the channel to UFC and was originally on the hockey game we showed up for, the server replied with “the manager must like the other table better then you”. totally unacceptable! Driving across the city to watch the Stanley cup finals in the ice district with friends and told hockey is not important to the staff is terrible, paid our bill and left voiced our disappointment with staff on the way out… never coming back and will be...
