Disappointed. I used the dairy queen mobile app to look at the deals/coupons, and turns out this location doesn't accept mobile orders. So I opened up the deal/coupon to redeem "in restaurant", and when i tell them i have the mobile app coupon, they tell me they don't have a scanner to scan the barcode (they only take a numerical code which is not provided on dairy queens app). Really disappointing that a chain restaurant has an app and one of the newest locations does not accept the mobile deals. I asked if there was any way they could honor the coupon and they declined.
After going ahead with the order despite the issues with the coupon, i ask for a small amount of whipped cream in a cup for my small dog (like the Starbucks puppaccino). Apparently that had a charge too. When i asked them to make an accommodation for the whipped cream since they couldn't price their own company's mobile app coupons, they declined stating "it's company policy."
Very disappointed with the customer service, especially given it's their own issue that this location doesn't honor its corporate mobile deals/coupons. And the response of the staff member who was in charge with respect to the "company policy" line definitely was not considerate of the customer experience. What sucked worse is i decided to come to dairy queen rather than McDonald's...
Don't bother coming to this location if you're looking to save with mobile...
