This is a restaurant serving South Indian cuisine mainly from the southern state of Tamilnadu, India. They also serve Indo Chinese cuisine. The food was delicious . Our server Navdeep was a cheerful and helpful person. The food was served quickly and was fresh. We ordered Tamilnadu Goat Biriyani. It tasted awesome and authentic. A pleasant change from the commonly usual north Indian Biriyani . They have a variety of Dosa served with Sambhar, coconut chutney and onion chutney. Their Kozhi appitizer was crisp and spicy. Indo Chinese Manchurian was tasty too. Price was reasonable. The ambiance was pleasant and neutral. If you like to try authentic South Indian cuisine then you should try this restaurant.
Every visit to this restaurant is truly interesting. This time we had their 4 feet Family Dosa . Its sufficient for 4 people to eat . Its served with coconut chutney, Red Onion chutney and Tiffin Sambhar which is light and different . The taste was good, fresh and had a subtle taste of Desi Ghee. We also had the Indo-chinese Pepper Chicken which was very tasty. Their dessert of Flan was mouthwatering and so light that can be compared with any top Restaurants in Edmonton . This restaurant has free parking available and is on 23rd Avenue toward 17 street close to the Medows Recreation Center. The owners and Chefs were very welcoming and made our visit...

It's the longest review but my time is worth to support this restaurant ,, bless the mud pot , I LOVE...
Read moreI regret to inform you (chef and management) that the quality of the food in your restaurant has dramatically decreased in recent months. Since I was extremely hungry, I decided to go to Mud Pot instead of Savoy's restaurant, which is quite far from my home. Asked the server to find me the best between the idly and the uthappam. As she suggested, masala Uttapam is an excellent choice. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of my meal. Since the uthappam was made from over fermented dough, the vegetables were not visible on top. The uttapam was over pressed to cook, resulting in a paratha instead of uttapam. Due to this unprofessional, unethical, and negative attitude, restaurants are losing customers. The guests may not be familiar with culinary technicalities, but they are aware of which food is worth the price they paid. My understanding is that once you see this review. You will ask your friends to submit positive comments to maintain the star rating, which is an old technique for maintaining star ratings. Please maintain your professionalism and improve your skills instead of performing this activity. It is highly recommended that management and chefs conduct a competitive analysis of your...
