Really shocked and surprised the way quality of food went down of this restaurant. I have been eating from this restaurant since last year when I moved here. However honestly after eating food today I realized quality went down drastically. On top of that the quantity of food decreased a lot. I think the previous chef is no more at this location. Owner should have a look into this issue as soon as possible.
Quantity of fried rice and chilli chicken was really not enough as this is not the usual quantity we used get earlier. Quantity of noodle was okay. However the taste of all 3 dishes were absolutely rubbish. Rice of fried rice wasnât mixed and cooked properly. It was like home made soggy bland taste fried rice. Chilli chicken and noodles were also same like fried rice. I know I asked for not too spicy because of my daughter that doesnât mean bland taste. Itâs okay my review will not impact your business. However I am trying to get attention of owner to keep an eye of this outlet. 23 ave outlet is as important as Ellerslie. Honestly if you wanna try good indo Chinese food you should go to Everest at white ave.
Nevertheless itâs just my own feelings. I have worked in this industry for a long and customer satisfaction was always my top priority. Itâs not like I am disrespecting any chef but the owner needs to look into the quality of...
Read moreWe have tried their other Ellerslie location and really enjoy the food so decided to give this location a try as its very close to where we live.
Place was clean, tidy and quiet.
The staff were really friendly and gave us recommendations on what to order.
We ordered Egg Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken, Szechuan Momos and Lime Drink. We asked for all dishes in âmediumâ spicy as we tried âhotâ at their other location and it was way too spicy!
The chilli chicken had a weird taste and smell and we realized the chicken was old. We could not even eat it.
The egg fried rice was average, did not have much flavor.
Both these dishes were not medium spicy, more like âmildâ.
We tried the Szechuan momos as we love their momos from their other location and those were good, although were missing sauce.
We will go back to their other location next time as we enjoy the food there better. But this location just opened near our house, so thought we would be...
Read moreMe and my husband recently dined at Chilli Peppers, located at 23 Avenue. The food was absolutely deliciousâevery dish was packed with authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The Malai Pepper Momos, Lemon coriander soup and there own speciality Spring Roll stuffed with Noodles was a standout. The variety on the menu caters to everyone, whether you're a fan of spicy dishes or prefer something milder.
The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, and the cook Mr. Kartik truly has a talent for blending spices and ingredients to create dishes that are both comforting and exciting.
I highly recommend Chilli Peppers for anyone craving authentic Indo Chinese . Itâs easily one of the best Indo chinese cuisine Iâve ever visited. A true...
