The only good thing about this experience was our nice server. I just left Duggans.
My boyfriend and I stopped in for some good old Irish grub and what a disappointment.
We ordered the dry ribs, beef dip w/fries and the sausage w/mash, peas and Yorkshire pudding.
The only thing that was kind of edible were the ribs and they were at 4 at best. Very oily and fatty.
The beef dip sandwich was made on something similar to hot dog bread, the meat was dry, you couldn’t even chew or swallow it. The meat, cheese and mushrooms were definitely microwaved. The french fries were so over cooked that they tasted like pure oil and were burn to a crisp.
Now, let’s talk about the sausage w/ peas, mash and Yorkshire pudding. The whole dish was microwaved. The mash was from a packet and the Yorkshire pudding came from a bag.
My boyfriend tried my beef dip sandwich and ended up spitting it out on the plate, that’s how inedible it was.
When the serve came over to do her one bite check we told her the food wasn’t good and listed off all the reason as to why we didn’t like it. She definitely saw the food that was spit out on my boyfriend’s plate.
The Manager, then came by and asked us what was wrong and again we told her why the food wasn’t edible or enjoyable, and she continued to apologize without offering to comp anything or discount the bill.
We then said not to worry about it and we would pay for it because we were just going to give the food away to some homeless people.
With that being said, in all fairness, we did order these meals. However, in my experience if your customers tell you their meals are inedible and list all the reasons off to you as to why the food was not edible or enjoyable you should comp their meals or at least offer a discount on their bill.
Not only were our meals not comped they did not even offer a discount to the bill.
The cherry on top is my boyfriend then ordered a shot before they brought us the bill and not even the shot was comped on the bill.
The bill totalled over $100 and left a bad taste in our mouths.
I wish I would’ve taken pictures of the food.
This is first and last time we will be dining at Duggans.
I’d give this place 0...

I am still leaving this up just to keep folks informed in case they need to make decisions about where to eat based on dietary restrictions!
I am part of a group that is partially gluten free. Duggan's Boundary used to be a great place for us because they had a really awesome gluten free menu where us celiacs and non-celiacs alike could hang out on the BEAUTIFUL patio and enjoy the live music.
Recently, they changed the menu so there are very few things that are gluten free, and the modifications from the original were not made transparent. They also charge 5$ for gluten free modification, whether that's a gluten free bun or a few leaves of romaine to make a "lettuce wrap".
Our service the last time we went was characterized by confusion about the amount of gluten free buns that were available, and some folks ended up with gluten free buns when they hadn't ordered them and incorrect entrees that garnered a "What do you want me to do about it" from our server and insistence that they had brought out the correct order. Considering the number of folks in our group affected by gluten, we were collectively concerned about the lack of attention to detail and concern about our needs.
It honestly tears me apart to write a negative review about this place because it has such a good vibe and used to be our go-to patio and pub for the inclusive options. Unless Duggan's Boundary is able to be more welcoming to us, we will be seeking out...
Read moreI've been going here for years and I always generally enjoyed it. Over the last few months, however, food quality has reduced considerably by getting more and more burnt burgers and that sorta thing. Not the biggest issue, things misfire sometimes.
Today, however, was mindbogglingly disappointing. First, kid got eggs Benedict. Kids hollandaise sauce was completely broken and so not off to a great start, and I then my chicken sandwich came. First, it wasn't the right one- not that big of deal, but it contained one tiny piece of lettuce, one tomato, and probably a 3rd of a Chicken breast shredded and mixed with mayo on an otherwise large and plain bun with nothing else. I assume it was supposed to a grilled chicken sandwich but didn't even contain the ingredients for it, so I'm not even sure what the heck it was supposed to be. For a 20+ dollar sandwich, I have no clue how a cook could look at it and think it was acceptable to put out. It's been kind of an ongoing thing where our food order has been an issue, but usually it's not a big enough of an issue to make a big deal about it. This time it made me genuinely concerned about the cook in the back.
Front of house is great and are amazing servers, but someone needs to check on whoever was...
