Edo Japan — Restaurant in Edmonton

I came into the store today (March 5, 2025) and ordered a teriyaki beef bento with noodles, when I received my order it was with rice.

When I went up to tell them the mistake they said I never asked for noodles and never charged me and I said I did, so they charged me for the noodles and then said they’d make it again.

Well what I got back was laughable, they barely heated the noodles and then just scraped the food from my old meal into this meal so my noodles were lukewarm, bone dry, and so was my meat mixture as most of the sauce was on the rice from the first go.

I asked for a refund as at this point I knew they weren’t going to make it right since they argued with me the first time around.

They argued with me saying the noodles couldn’t be cold since they just cooked them and that they could add more sauce, I told them that no, I didn’t want more sauce since my noodles will then still be lukewarm.

After finally relenting they threw the cash at me (not how I paid) and gave me a lot of attitude about it.

I’ve been to many, many Edo locations all over Alberta throughout my life and I’ve never had a bad experience before today.

I absolutely will not be back to this location and I definitely don’t recommend...

I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken Benito with the 2 sides (sushi and egg rolls) which they added an extra $2.00 onto the bill saying the "Pick 2 Sides" on the menu doesn't mean the 2 side dishes are included, they are just priced lower. Okey dokey. That would have gotten them 3 stars. However, I was then very disappointed with the product. It had some burnt pieces of chicken in it, lots of chewy gristle, and a sharp piece of bone (triangle-shaped and .5cm long) that got stuck in a back molar (thankfully, I didn't swallow it as it could have done a lot more damage). And then, after forcefully eating the meal, my stomach was growling loudly for about 30 mins, and I had lots of nerve twitching, which is always a sign of consuming a lot of MSG. My days of being an Edo/No-meato fan are now over due to their high-priced low quality food, Bait and Switch marketing and low level of...

It's good food, fast and served to your table. Even came back and asked if they could get anything else for us after a while of us eating. at no point was I expecting a "waiter" like experience so that was a nice surprise. :) (the seating area that was place to view out the window was blocked by all the signage ment for the customers outside the store, hindering the view for the already customers inside the store.most business' fail at this, paying customers are done looking at your ads once we pay for our meals, but your signs are still bombarding us even after we have given you money .. but that's a head...
