I called the store at 9:20 PM today( Oct 9 ) at 9:20 PM to place a to go order for a pistachio croissant. I was very aware that it was close to closing time, so I thought calling ahead would actually make things more convenient for the stuff, giving them time to prepare before I arrived. However, the girl on the phone told me they don’t sell croissants in the afternoon and evenings, which already seemed strange. Still, I decided to let it go. When I happed to walk past the store around 9:50 PM, I saw at least ten customers still sitting in the dining area, so I went inside to double check. When I asked again about ordering a croissant, the staff at the counter repeated that they don’t sell croissants. I then asked about taiyaki, and she said the same thing……. At that point, I honestly wanted to ask, WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU SELL THEN?? Her response was that it was “ close to closing time” and that they “ didn’t want to open the oven”. Excuse me? I had called 40 minutes before closing, does it really take 40 minutes to bake a croissant???? The whole experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If the staff simply didn’t want to serve customers before closing, they should clearly state their actual serving hours instead of misleading people. VERY...

Very unfortunate I have to leave such a terrible review for a place I use to love. I've easily spent over 500$ here, probably closer to 1000. I could easily go back and look at all my orders. The amount of times you have now messed up my order and have very little to absolutely no regard to making a mistake. Not even an apology or anything. You offer to give me a 2$ side of mango for the inconvenience.... Wow. Thanks. If you guys can't understand the orders that come in, maybe get someone who can. Because Carmen definitely cannot. I called you last week stating your menu on Uber eats no longer let's you pick mango on the side, so I called to verify I could select another option and put in the comments. I did the same thing this time, without calling, thinking it would be simple to understand. Why would anyone possibly ever order a topping on the side? Your very very poor customer service just lost you one of your most frequent returning customers. Learn some manners and how to deal with a customer who YOU'VE done wrong. Thinking a 2$ side is some kind of nice gesture is quite...

Highly recommend the strawberry bingsoo if you like strawberry desserts. The regular size is quite large if you’re not too hungry, think I’ll order a mini next time (which looks like a regular drink size). Not the finest shaved ice I’ve had, there were small ice clumps in my bowl, but overall still good. I like that there are layers of fruit inside and underneath, not just on the top.

My kid had a mini watermelon which he loved and had no problem finishing on his own. Husband had the regular mango bingsoo, which he also gave full stars.

We were disappointed in the taiyaki though. I was hoping for a more chewy, mochi-like texture on the inside but it was more creamy and custard like. We got the injeolmi with red bean; I was hoping for more injeolmi than red bean for the chewy texture, but it was mostly red bean with small bits of injeolmi. The outer pastry also could have been more crispy. Probably won’t order the taiyaki again, no matter...

Late night munchies kicked in on a Saturday night - Flurries cafe was open at 1030pm! Love spots like this that are open late! Vast menu! I went with mango in a regular size. Perfect for me. Couldn’t eat much more as it is filling. The large for the strawberry that my friend was craving. She dummied that in one sitting. Has more of a sweet tooth than I. We enjoyed them both! Great tasting ingredients. Friendly service. Expect to wait 7-10min for your order. It was semi busy when we went and I’d imagine the wait is longer the more busy it is. Room to sit and dine in if you so choose. We got ours to go this time. Parking along the side street since it’s located on Jasper ave. Lots I still would like to try! I’ll be back. Worth a spot on your must try late night eats list!

Had Flurries' bingsoo multiple times via Uber, and tonight was my first in-person visit. Utterly disappointed at service. I ordered a bingsoo to stay at first, but because the place was too packed, I changed it to to-go. Waited for literally more than 15-20minutes till I decided to ask if mine wasn't ready yet--the staff opend the fridge and gave the bingsoo in a container with no bag or anything at all. Don't understand why they never called me when my order was ready, and why the container was given no covering at all. About 20% already melted by the time I got home which is only 5 minutes away by car. What's in the photo here is what I poured out from the container before eating the rest... Bingsoo is impeccable, but everything else was far less than expected.

Flurrries Cafe, previously known as Snowy Village, is a delightful gem located on Jasper Avenue in Edmonton. Famous for its bingsu, this cafe certainly lives up to its reputation. I recently had the pleasure of trying their Mango Bingsu and Cheesecake Bingsu, and both were absolutely delicious. The bingsu had the perfect balance of sweetness and texture, making each bite a refreshing treat. In terms of quantity, Flurrries Cafe offers generous servings that make it perfect for sharing. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality and satisfaction provided by each bowl. The cafe has a charming ambience, with a cute and minimalist decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. It does tend to get busy, which is a testament to its popularity.
