We have been buying from Guru Nanak Bakery almost every week since they opened, and we have never been disappointed—not even once. I first tried their coffee, then moved on to their cookies, pastries, patties, noodle burgers, and cakes. Every single item has been exceptionally good, consistently exceeding our expectations.

Yesterday was our son’s birthday, and we ordered two cakes from them. My family, his friends, and their families all loved them. By the end of the party, not a single piece was left—everyone enjoyed them so much!

I believe there are two owners who are always in the back, actively involved in the daily production. They are incredibly kind, humble, and welcoming, and their warmth is reflected in their staff as well. Every time I visit, I see the same girl at the front desk, and she is just as polite, professional, and helpful as the owners.

What truly sets Guru Nanak Bakery apart is that, despite their well-earned success in such a competitive market, their values and the way they treat customers have never changed. Many businesses evolve over time, sometimes losing their original charm, but not Guru Nanak Bakery—they remain just as dedicated, humble, and committed to quality as they were on day one.

The name Guru Nanak itself holds deep meaning and purity, and this bakery ensures that name continues to shine through their hard work, integrity, and...

Guru Nanak Bakery has become an integral part of my birthday celebrations every year. The mango rasmalai cake is simply divine, capturing the essence of rich and traditional flavors. Every sweet treat here is exceptional, and the variety is truly impressive.

What makes the experience even more special is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, speaking Hindi, Punjabi, and English to ensure every customer feels at home. Walking into the bakery, you are greeted with a wonderful aroma that immediately makes you feel at ease.

One of the highlights for me is the beautiful portrait of Guru Nanak Dev Ji that adorns the wall. It fills my heart with joy and reverence every time I visit. This bakery not only serves delicious treats but also provides a space that honors our rich cultural heritage.

The vegetarian cakes are outstanding, crafted with such care and attention to detail. They are a testament to the bakery's commitment to quality and tradition. If you haven't visited Guru Nanak Bakery yet, you are truly missing out on a remarkable experience. Highly recommend this gem for its delicious offerings and the wonderful sense of...

My mom and I spotted this bakery while driving and decided to give it a try since we are vegetarians and always on the lookout for new places. Unfortunately, our experience with their customer service left us very disappointed. We walked into the bakery as the door was not locked and there were no signs indicating that the bakery was closed or displaying their operating hours. Upon entering, we were not welcomed at all. We simply walked in, not knowing that the bakery wasn't operating yet. Instead of being greeted kindly, an employee (or perhaps the owner) made us feel quite unwelcome and even foolish for entering. They curtly informed us that the bakery wouldn't be open for another 15 minutes. I understand that we were a bit early and am not asking for special treatment or service before opening time. However, a little kindness and understanding in such situations can go a long way. A simple, friendly explanation would have sufficed. After this unpleasant interaction, we have decided not to return, even if the food is good. Customer service is an integral part, and ours was sorely lacking. Very...

I recently ordered a custom truck mechanic-themed cake from Guru Nanak Bakery and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! From the moment I placed the order, the staff was incredibly helpful and enthusiastic about my idea. They listened attentively to my vision and offered great suggestions to enhance the design. When I picked up the cake, I was blown away by the incredible attention to detail. The cake featured a beautifully crafted truck on top, complete with tools that perfectly captured the mechanic theme. It was not only a feast for the eyes but also a true work of art. As for the taste, it was just as impressive as the design. The cake was moist and flavorful, with layers that were rich and delicious. Everyone at the party raved about it, and there wasn't a single slice left by the end of the celebration! Guru Nanak Bakery truly exceeded my expectations, and I can't thank them enough for making our day so special. If you're looking for a custom cake that combines creativity and flavor, I highly recommend them. I will definitely be returning for future celebrations!

I was in the area to grab some Paneer Shish kebabs and chicken from nearby Garcha Bros meat shop. Since they weren't open yet I dropped in here to check the place out. I bought some cookies and got one of their paneer puffs. The Paneer Puff was really tasty, so much so that I 9 back in and bought a dozen of their samosa puffs to serve at my BBQ. They didn’t have any more Paneer Puffs and I didn’t have time to wait to get fresh ones, next time though I’ll call ahead and get some for my guests as it was really good. The samosa ones are your regular potato vegetarian filling for a samosa but very tasty. I wish they had some beef ones, but they are a vegan? Or maybe just vegetarian place. The cookies I didn’t try myself, but my grandmother and aunts really enjoyed them. Wish it wasn’t so hard to find a good beef samosa in Edmonton, though these paneer puffs are awesome.

“I recently ordered the Rasmalai Mango Cake from Guru Nanak Bakery and it was absolutely delightful. The cake was soft, moist, and perfectly balanced with the flavors of mango and rasmalai. The sweetness was just right—not overpowering—and every bite felt rich and refreshing at the same time. The decoration and presentation were beautiful, which made it even more enjoyable for the occasion. It’s rare to find a cake that brings together traditional Indian dessert flavors with such creativity and quality. I would definitely recommend this cake and will be ordering from here again in the future.”
