Horrible service and quality! I am a loyal Marble Slab customer- This was my first time at the Millwoods location, and I’ll never go there again! I usually go to South Common or Windemere and am very happy with those locations but the Millwoods location is a joke! I always order the custom half liter with Pistachio ice cream and sliced almonds for the mix-ins, and have been getting the same order every time I go to Marble Slab- for the past 4 years! I know what it’s supposed to taste like and how full the container is supposed to be. Imagine my disappointment and anger when I paid $19.46 at the Millwoods location for my custom half liter of pistachio ice cream with sliced almond mixins only to get home and find that not only was my container not full, but the ice cream that was in it had air pockets in the container because they didn’t pack it down like they were supposed to and didn’t fill it up. The container had only HALF the amount of ice cream as is usually in the half liter I get from EVERY other store. On top of that, the pistachio ice cream did not even taste like pistachio like it normally does at all the other locations. It tastes like plain cream with no flavor and green food coloring. Not even a hint of pistachio. And lastly, there were hardly any almonds in the container- like almost none. Something tells me that the owner of the Millwoods location is cheapo and therefore doesn’t fill up the containers all the way, cuts the amount of flavoring that goes into the ice cream to save $$ and cheapskate out on mixing that are supposed to be unlimited. The ice cream in each store is made fresh in each store- and I bet corporate would like to know that this location is messing with the tried and true marble slab ice cream recipes in an effort to save money- because it has completely affected the quality and I for one will never ever go to the Millwoods location again. The ice cream is tasteless and gross. And guess what??? When someone is paying almost $20 for a HALF LITRE of ice cream, that ice cream becomes a high end product that should be top notch- and you can’t cheap out when making a high end product. The audacity that this store has to charge someone $20 for a half litre and then give them poor quality tasteless product in a half empty container. Not sure who they think they are...

TLDR: they are okay with taking their employees taking your phone and showing your phone to another customer, which stimulated verbal abuse from that customer. Filed a complaint online, they throw some shabby apology in the form of a coupon to try and appease us.
My mom came here recently, wanted to redeem a coupon stored on her phone. They stated that the coupon was expired - the date was written in the form 01/03/2020 so you can't tell whether this is January 3rd or March 1st (dates written are for example's sake). One date version of the date made the coupon valid, and the other did not. Either way, it's fine that they refused the coupon; my mom said she'd pay without it. However the employee (older lady), who was serving my mom, refused to stand down. She decided to escalate the situation just to validate her stance about the date: instead of asking the other employee (younger lady) on duty, apparently the most reasonable course of action was to take my mom's phone and show it to ANOTHER CUSTOMER, and have THE CUSTOMER validate her point. This further escalated into that customer cussing at my mother, including receiving a middle finger. Not only was this an absolutely humiliating experience, this was an unacceptable violation of my mother's privacy.
In her stead, I file a complaint on my mom's behalf on their website. What we get back is some shabby apology and that they want to mail us a coupon to "express their apology". This was never about getting a coupon or trying to get something free. This was purely feedback for the company to get their act together. We deserve a much better explanation than this shameful attempt...

I am a regular customer here since I was kid and now from last few years I was going with friends and some times with family . till last year this place was stinky and always found employees were not happy there and onetime one worker told me around last spring (2017) that the owner was rude and not paying them .THATS REALLY RUDE.... then it was closed for 4-5 months and ITS OPEN AGAIN in APRIL... I was happy and felt little odd to go there again.. but I was WRONG... NEW MANAGEMENT IS AWESOME.... VERY NICELY GREETING CUSTOMERS... HELP THEM OUT WITH TASTING FLAVOURS (which old owner never offer to taste or neither saw sample spoons)AND SELECTING . ALL FILLED WITH VARIETY OF ICECREAM ,CAKES,SANDWICHS etc etc in FRONT FREEZER.. I recommended everyone to go there , give the new owner and management a chance... you will see the difference... location renovated clean and tidy .refreshing ..love the gals and guy who is working there.... YOU GUYS ROCK IN FEW MONTHS... I am already recommending my friends to write reviews ... NO. 1 place for...
