We were in a hurry so we stop by this McDonald's for a quick meal. First, when we walked in we were met at the front door by an employee encouraging/forcing us to use the self serve option. This took approximately 10 minutes (we ordered 1 burger plain, the other burger with just ketchup, 3 meals and 3 snack size McFlurries). We were served the ice cream first, however, the Flurries cups were only half filled. So , I returned them ask that they be topped up.. No big deal! Then I received our meal order.. I take the meals back to our table (Note - I had to clean the table), but prior to begin eating I fill up my drink (Diet Coke). There are not lids so I to stand in line to get lids, and learn when the employee hands them to me, that I got the last 3 lids in the store. I didn't think anything of it at the time, until I watch 30 other patrons fill up their cups and leave without a lid (wonder how they served the drive thru)... Then I take a sip of my drink and the syrup on the Diet Coke is out. So, I go up to the employee working in the lobby and advise him the Diet Coke is out of syrup. He acknowledges me and goes back into the kitchen to change the syrup. However, until we left (20 minutes later) the Diet Coke syrup was not changed. I then opened my bag of food and both burgers were not special ordered so I have to take them back. When I get back to the table, my kid passes me my fries.. To my surprise it was half full. I ask my son if my fries had spilled in the bag and then see their fries are also half full, are burnt and cold too. So, I return to the counter and again ask for new fries, that are at least warm.. I did not complaint just asked and waited... While I was waiting, I noticed how many patrons were waiting in the lobby. I noticed most of the employees were dedicated to helping the drive thru, with very few employees assisting the eat in guests. McDonald s in my opinion is no longer customer focus, it merely about making money - quality and cleanliness is out.
So, to sum up my experience, the ice cream was half full, burger was not made to order, drinks were out of syrup, not to mention no lids and the fries were cold and half filled.
There is a DQ, and a KFC in the same complex, I would discourage any from eating at this restaurant. Just a side note, I had the flu the following day, not sure if this has anything to do with the quality of my food, probably not, but, I'm...
Read moreWe went to McDonald's at Collingwood around 5:15 pm tonight Aug 24th we went through the drive through and placed a big order over $79.00 we brought a bag to put our food in and the young man at the window gave us our order on 2 trays . We were short a mcchicken and so I told the guy we only have 2 but ordered 3 . He did not seem to believe me so we took all the food out of the bag to show him, he still did not believe us so he closed the window and went to talk to the staff in back. He comes back again and says we are wrong and that they gave us 3 so we showed all the food again. Then he calls his female Mgr who basically calls.us liers and laughs says pull into stall 1 and they will give us another mcchicken. Almost 15 min later a young man comes out with a Jr chicken and says the Mgr is reviewing the camera feed and would I not leave. So I went into the McDonald's very angry as they were still not believing me. How long do i have to wait before I get my burger I told them this was very shameful and how many times did the Mgr have to review the tape. I told them it would not change how many times they watched it it would show only receiving 2 McChickens The Mgr would.nor come out and talk to me or face me when I went into the McDonald's she just had the young staff looking after me. I did finally get my McChicken and had them replace my cold fries

Read moreI had a very bad experience at this place last Tuesday. I bought a Big Mac meal that afternoon. I found an insect inside the burger halfway through my meal, and I couldn’t even finish that food because I lost my appetite and I was so disgusted. I called them over the phone that evening and I talked to “Lance” about what I had just experienced. He was so understanding and listened to my concern and he apologized for what had happened. He told me to take a picture and bring it the next day and promised me two free meals and he was so apologetic and really understanding. but when I came today Lance was off but the other manager on duty “Nico” came to talk to me; I showed him the picture and explained my problem but he was so rude, he had a flat emotion, didn’t show any emotion he didn’t care about what I just told him at all!!! He just asked me “do you want to replace your meal?” and I asked him what are you going to do about this? He just said, “ maybe will double check again but this come already checked. So , this mean that they do not double check the food they are serving us to ensure it is safe food before cooking them. And I had to tell him that no! Lance promised me two free mails not one, and my concern is not just to replace a meal whenever someone complain about the service provided. It’s about ensuring the complainers that you will make sure that this doesn’t happened again by being extra careful when cooking and serving people this food!
