On Mother's Day, I placed an order for a buy one get one free Deep Fried Chicken Rice bowl. I added a Dragon Eye Roll and a Vietnamese Coffee. My coworker was supposed to place an order for her own Buy One/Get One and I was just going to drop it off for her.

When I got there, there were only a total of two rice bowls instead of the four I had expected. After a bit of confusion from the young cashier and me, they rang up another Buy One/Get One. They were patient and friendly about the situation. Thank goodness I didn't make a fuss because the confusion was with my coworker as she thought WE were doing a BOGO together. Nuh uh. I wanted the BOGO all to myself; one for dinner and the second one for my lunch the next day. SO...BIG apology to the restaurant for the confusion.

I enjoyed my meal. I love the veggies that are with the mix. For me, the rice bowls usually are good for one meal and one snack meal. My favorite dish (and my coworker's and sons' is the Japanese NY Steak bowl)

Dragon Eye is always filling and good. I actually have to share that with my son as it is FILLING.

Their Vietnamese coffee is nice and strong. Maybe stronger than what some restaurants tend to serve but I'm all for it as I tend to add an extra espresso shot to my Starbucks coffee and Tim's Ice Caps. (Also love their Lychee bubble tea with Lychee pieces.)

Sometimes service there is slow during busy times hence me calling my order in for pick up most of the time. I am not bothered by it as they make their drinks and food as they are ordered. I just use that opportunity to play my phone games while I wait. Side note....not a huge fan of their pho. It could be that being Vietnamese, I like my broth to be a bit more...

Normally love this place, but lately they have been getting orders wrong (missing sauce or other items) in both pickup and delivery. Yesterday finally put me over the edge, in the sense I wanted to reach out to them but couldn't find an email address to write too. Hence, Google review seemed appropriate.

I went to pickup an order after placing one online. Their packaging is tight, so I grabbed my bag and headed home. Upon arriving home, we noticed one of the sauces was missing for our bowl. My wife called them while I readied to make the drive back. At this point, it was no big deal as mistakes happen. Upon arrival, I was fully expected a "normal" service response that consisted of "sorry about forgetting your sauce, here it is"; instead, I awkwardly stood around waiting for the manager (?) to speak with their kitchen team concerning my $1 value of sauce. I don't understand mandarin / cantonese, but it was obvious (gestures, tone) that me (customer) was potentially lying about receiving the sauce.

I've never experienced this in my life and I have been a frequent visitor of the restaurant. I was then told that they were "certain" that the sauce was included, and insinuated that I either a) didn't look hard enough in the packaging, or b) was lying. They then reluctantly gave me the sauce without an apology or anything, despite having driven 20 minutes to get it.

I couldn't believe the treatment. Reading other reviews, it is clear that the Callingwood location's customer service has dropped. I just never thought you'd blame a customer for...

I regularly order from this restaurant. My daughter loves the stir fry veggies with broccoli but over time the broccoli portion has been next to nothing. I’ve offered to pay extra for broccoli and was told because the veggies are premixed it was not an option. Today I placed order for dinner and had a call back from the restaurant to confirm details on my order. We confirmed the order details and thought the order went ahead. Luckily within 10 minutes I had checked my email to find the order was cancelled. I called the restaurant back to talk to the employee who has spoke to me 10 minutes prior. She explained that because our initial phone conversation exceeded the 3 minute time limit for the restaurant to accept the order the system auto cancelled the ordered when she checked. I asked how was that acceptable when we just talked and confirmed the order. The employee said there was nothing she can do on her end cause she didn’t accept the order within 3 mins and that it was cancelled already and I had to order again and go back to the queue to wait. That is not acceptable customer service. She didn’t even offer to place the order over the phone. It’s a pity there are lots of other restaurant choices and we have been a regular since...

Establishment is clean.. However, I was not greeted at all upon entry or when I approached the till. The attendant simply looked up at me and continued to do what they were doing. I ordered the flat noodle bowl, with chicken and shrimp, which took 30 mins to prepare. Despite other customers walking in, ordering Ieaving. I had to reapproach the counter and ask for my order which seems like it was forgotten. The dish was terrible.....no flavour, noodles glued together with a few pieces of 2 inch green onion and uncleaned shrimp. I threw my dish out after paying $20... it was that BAD!.

Misleading Information 🚨🚨Unacceptable‼️‼️ You have a sign at your front door that says “Free Delivery”, yet I was charged a delivery fee when ordering online. When I called to ask last week, your staff admitted that the owner is aware of this issue — so why hasn’t it been removed? This is not about the money. It’s about principle. Posting false information to attract customers is a deceptive and unethical business practice. You are knowingly misleading people, and that’s unacceptable. I strongly urge you to correct this immediately. If nothing changes, this will be my last visit.

Really bad experience. I’ve been a loyal customer of Ricebowl Deluxe, but this delivery experience really disappoints me. I ordered a Malaysian Laksa Noodle Soup and this dish I’ve been ordered many times, the topping should comes with shrimps, fish balls, fish tofus and tofu puffs. However, the order I received only deliver with TWO SHRIMPS, without other toppings. Restaurant should make those simple mistake, train their staff in a better way and do quality control especially it is a restaurant with different branches.
