Very bad food delicacy... placed expiration date but a day after I bought the sapin sapin molds were seen and the food is foul smelling and sticky all over..food was placed in ref.. but still would be eatable or edible even when not in ref as climate in edmonton is cold Bought the delicacy jan 27 ... placed in ref after buying opened jan 28... Molds and foul smell noted. Expiration on item: Jan 30... Be aware of what you buy... it will make you sick and unwell.. check not only expiration date but as much as possible open and check the inside... You will never know whats at stake... Be not decieved on expiration dates

We bought egg pie to try, it was Too sweet! More on condensed milk, Lack of yolk to taste, too much of white egg because it is not smooth and lots of pocket holes, sugar not really diluted i can taste the granules on my tongue, Quality wise is Mediocre. But It can be improve. But other products like pandesal is so good!!! Excellent quality!!! I might say the best in Edmonton! Super lambot perfectly done!!!and his goto was superb and very recommendable to try, but sadly, not available. pandesal always freshly baked!!! You will come back for more! Try it!!! Pandesal is very recommendable😁

Decided to go here after a long day and saw it was rated No. 1 in Edmonton. First impressions, looked a little shady on entering. However, the chef provided amazing customer service, loved how we could select what we wanted on it, was boiling hot and stayed hot until we got home (20 minute drive), and the taste, well it was second to none. The salad, tomatoes etc tasted so fresh and the chicken had great seasoning. There was not too much sauce in the bag by the end. Overall, I would say this place beats Queen Donair, and Swiss Donair.

In light of the recent social media hype, I decided to make the 50 minute bus ride over to grab a donair because I figured, why not? I entered the shop at 8:05, and left around 8:30. The place was actually supposed to close at 8:00, but the shop owner seemingly never stopped serving customers until the restaurant literally started running out of products. As a result, I saw the owner apologetically informing arriving customers that he could not serve them anymore, but never once citing the fact that the restaurant was technically closed. This scene was truly indicative of the work ethic and morale that garnered the store exposure in the first place, and the recent surge in business Jumbo Donair has seen is well deserved.

All else aside, this is a restaurant after all, and it would be a mistake not to mention the food itself! I ordered a large beef donair which true to its name, was quite large. I'd guess that the pita used was no less than 10". I find it hard to believe that large is not even the biggest size, as the "jumbo" size is available for about $2 more than the $10 large. They are VERY generous with the amount of meat they put in the donair, and it is quite obvious that the meat is the main attraction of the donair, whereas other shops may "skimp" out on the meat helpings. Everything is made fresh to the order, so I received my food piping hot and juicy. It was quite the messy ordeal eating it, but that's to be expected from a massive donair. It tasted quite good, although I would suggest asking for the onions to be grilled, as the type of onion they use is fairly strong and somewhat overwhelming. I'd also suggest adding lettuce and tomato to balance the heaviness of the meat. I also tried some of their poutine which was unfortunately not quite as solid as their donair. Although it by no means was bad, the poutine was too salty and lacked actual cheese curds (in favor of shredded cheddar and mozzarella). All in all however, Jumbo Donair offered a solid experience.4 stars for the food, 5 stars for the experience.

The restaraunt offers many other various food options that I would like to go back and try, and it also doesn't hurt to give a smaller restaraunt like this your business. I've heard good things about their burgers and hot dogs, and their rice/salad/donair meat mix looks fairly enticing. Keep up the good work...

3 reasons why this donair place is number 1 in Edmonton Owner is the nicest guy I v met , the food and the bread and the veggies always fresh , the place is super clean unlike most donair places in the city that I v been to , my favourite meals at this place that you must try Ofcourse the donair buy I like the chicken shawarma he sells. Ask him to put garlic sauce on him , the owner is really generous he loads your sandwich with lots of meat to the point he can barely wraps it , he also gives you a lil tester of meat before you get your sandwich. Prices are cheaper than anywhere else in the city. I love donairs. But jumbo is by far number 1 in my list it can’t get better than that. I v had lots of bad donairs from so many places. There are 4places in Edmonton that sells good donair Check this place out I drive all way from west end to jumbo 4 times a week at least so ya. I wrote a long review on this place. Because the owner , good service is number 1 , It is located in the same parking lot as McDonald’s right behind McDonald’s. I also tried the steak there Honestly it felt like I was eating at the keg. The quality of the steak is surprisingly good for a donair shop. I hope you guys enjoy this...

Co-workers and I from Dragon FX in Millwoods Town Centre decided to check out and offer some support to local Jumbo Donair after we heard about the owner being kind to lesser fortunate man earlier in the week. The story of the owner's kindness made the news about how he gave a man a meal for free because he was hungry went viral and Edmontonians have been making a point to go down to this business to show their appreciation.

Our tattoo shop is just down the street so we decided to check the place out. Landon picked our order up and TV crews were still there. We ordered a large donair that Landon said was the best donair he ever had! I had a chicken hot dog, which honestly wasn't the best hot dog of life.

To our delight, the lovely owner gave us a free poutine which was SO GOOEY AND FULL OF GRAVY AND DELICIOUS.

Jumbo Donair is a place that supports Edmontonians and offers support to those in need. Give them your business and spread...
