Worst pizza ever! I'm so suspicious of all the high scores for this place. We ordered a 12" pizza and when we picked up the box it was so light that I had to make sure there was a pizza inside! The crust was squashed so thin that we could literally see the plate pattern through the pizza "crust"! I've never seen that before! Our fingers went through the dough when we tried to pick up a slice! It's like they used dough for an 8" pizza and flattened it out to 12"! The sauce was so thin it was flavourless. It was nothing more than a slight rouge colouring on the crust. The pineapple pieces easily overpowered any hints of tomato sauce. There was a grand total of three pieces of mozza that were no more than a teaspoon each...for a 12" pizza! So cheaply done! The meat was sliced almost paper thin but no surprise given the ridiculously cheap application of toppings. Even the "big box" franchise pizza outlets within blocks do a better job for a better price and places like Pappas pizza 2 blocks west make pizzas so loaded down that they weigh 3 times the weight of this poor excuse for pizza. If they keep turning out pathetically cheap pizzas they wont be around for too long. I don't like to be ripped off or insulted and they did both!
They'll not get another dime from us that's for sure.
Now this establishment has responded unprofessionally to my criticism by accusing me of being a liar! Dunno0 what your chef thinks that they saw. We took this pizza home so you are wrong on all counts. They have alleged that I am a "plant" working for a competitor! They are accusing me of staging the pictures of the defective product! Lecturing me for my "rude" wording! How absurd, insulting and telling! A professional establishment would simply apologize for the very poor product and offer to make it right. Instead they chose to attack the credibility of the reporting party! Shame on you indeed. If you cant stand the heat... Keep on selling substandard overpriced cheaply made pizza and you WILL be out of business in...

Tucked away in a quaint corner of the neighborhood, Moon Café is a charming Italian eatery that offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a cozy meal. As soon as you step inside, the soft lighting and rustic decor make you feel right at home, an oasis amidst the bustling streets outside.
The menu features a delightful array of Italian-themed dishes, but the standout has to be their incredibly thin-crust pizzas. I had the pleasure of trying the Margherita pizza, which was bursting with fresh flavors, although it did lean a bit on the droopy side. The combination of the rich tomato sauce, creamy mozzarella, and fragrant basil was simply delicious, making each bite a treat.
Pairing my meal with one of their beverages was a must! The cappuccino was expertly crafted, boasting a perfect balance of rich espresso and velvety foam, making it a delightful end to the meal. I also tried the iced coffee, which was refreshingly smooth and invigorating—ideal for those warm afternoons.
Moon Café's beverage selection is impressive, offering a wide variety that caters to all tastes. It's evident that the owners have put thought into creating a comprehensive menu to complement their food.
While the surrounding neighborhood has its challenges, with visible signs of struggle and occasional issues with crime, Moon Café stands out as a beacon of hope and community spirit. It’s a restaurant that not only serves tasty Italian fare but also brings a sense of warmth and safety to the area.
In conclusion, if you’re looking for a cozy spot to enjoy some delicious pizza and a fantastic drink, Moon Café is a must-visit. Here’s hoping the restaurant thrives and helps uplift the...

Moon Café near Rundle Park is a visually stunning spot with elegant interiors and a welcoming, friendly staff. The team was kind enough to honor our Groupon coupon for takeout, even though it wasn’t typically valid, which we truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations—especially for the price. We ordered takeout for three people: one meat lasagna, one panini, a Greek salad, and two tiramisus. The total came to nearly $80, but the portions were so small that we were left genuinely disappointed. The meat lasagna, priced at $18, had barely any beef and was not even enough for one person. The panini, at around $20, tasted average at best.
The Greek salad was the only item that felt somewhat justifiable for its $20 price tag, but even that’s debatable.
For comparison, places like Italian Bakery offer far more generous portions at nearly half the cost. Their $15 plate includes meat, lasagna, and veggies—enough to satisfy a full meal. Even the tiramisu at Italian Bakery is about half the price and arguably better.
We understand food costs are rising, but the portion-to-price ratio at Moon Café simply doesn’t make sense. While the ambiance and service were excellent, the value for money was sorely lacking. We left hungry and disappointed, especially considering this meal was meant to mark a special farewell for a coworker. A beautiful place, but not one we’d return to for takeout. As they say a picture speaks a thousand words, please check out these pics and decide...
