Western Barcode — Restaurant in Edmonton

I used to come here often with my partner or family, but unfortunately they got rid of pretty much the only option for vegans/vegetarians which was the impossible burger. So sadly I haven't been in for quite some time due to this, but check back occasionally in the hopes they might have reconsidered bringing it back. It's a shame because I loved this place for so many other reasons but right now there are just so many other restaurants out there who do a better job of making their menu inclusive to all with plenty of options

Edit: wow what a professional response... you guys literally once had the option to substitute an Impossible patty on any of your burgers, how and why would I just come up with that out of nowhere and go out of my way to post it if it weren't true? And we literally called to inquire after noticing it changed on your online menu and were told you had decided to stop offering it. Mind you, this was several months ago and I decided to wait until posting a review in case you changed your mind, but the point still stands, and claiming I'm lying is wild. You're getting so defensive but let's be honest, my review about removing a veggie burger isnt going to deter your average customer anyways. Hi there we had come om Saturday for karaoke. I had brought a total of 9 people including myself and I'd have to say the waitress was by far the worst I have ever had. She never asked how we were doing we had to stop her to get drink orders which she would only take one and walk away and we would have to stop her again. I myself had a pop as I was the designate driver and she wouldn't even refill my drink or bring water. If she would have actually came to our table I am sure or tab would have double or triple but was too busy having shots at the bar with a couple of guys. Then when we wanted to pay we had to go up and get her as she was busy we brought up to her the bad service and she got in our faces about hiw our drinks were never empty but they were always empty. She is really hurting your business please feel free to contact me. I will be calling and trying to talk to a manager about this as well

Update. Sent emails and called to speak with management but they don't...

I saw the owner say that they never served a vegan/vegetarian burger, which yes they did as I had went there before and had that burger. I had planned on going back, called the restaurant and was explicitly told that they had removed that from their menu. What a shame the owner gets offended after a different review stating the same thing. The place has great atmosphere, good food. But being so rude to somebody who liked the restaurant and was just upset they removed an item, whether impossible burger or beyond burger, or black bean or whatever it is, was very sad to see.

I had suggested this restaurant to family and friends, which I will stop doing, but I hope this restaurant can be good and thrive as local business is great. Just a sad response calling somebody a lair...
