TLDR: Food was not good, would not recommend, will not be coming back. Our server was nice Me and my family went here yesterday and were really excited about going as the food looked really good and they have a patio. We arrived and had to wait 35 min to get in which was no problem it was a beautiful day for patio so we understood. Once seated our server was nice and took our orders. We got our drinks right away and they were a bit on the expensive side but they were pretty good. The main problem we had as a family was the food. I ordered the spicy Hawaiian. Upon a quick glance, the pizza looked great, but as I took my first bite, I realized it was not a crunchy crust but a dry crust that was overcooked severely and had no moisture. The toppings were also slightly burnt. Overall I was not pleased especially for $31 dollars before tax and tip. We also were waiting for the food for about 45 minutes so I did not want to reorder just to wait even longer as we had plans later that night. Everyone else also was not pleased with their food exempt for the mediterranean salad that was good. We also witnessed people sneaking in as there is a line to wait, but these two people Seated themselves without waiting at all, as a family we all noticed this. We overheard the staff tell them that they cannot skip the line and seat themselves and they normally would have to wait but they allowed them to stay so we felt that that was unfair because we had to wait 35 minutes just to be seated.

We were at the restaurant today, Friday, starting at around 8 pm on the second floor. The server who attended to us all night was excellent: very kind, always attentive, and making sure we were doing well. However, something happened at the end of the night that left us feeling a bit uncomfortable. When the second floor closed, we went down to the first floor. One of my friends was still finishing his beer, so we decided to sit at a table while he did. There were about five tables still occupied, with people enjoying their drinks, and visible glasses on the tables (I’ve attached photos). To our surprise, one of the employees (a tall guy from the bar) came to our table and, without saying anything, took my friend’s glass even though it still had beer in it. He didn’t ask if my friend had finished or if he wanted to continue drinking; he just took it away. This made us feel uncomfortable, especially since there were other tables where people were still sitting and peacefully enjoying their drinks. It was an unpleasant situation, and we felt it wasn’t handled fairly or appropriately. It’s a shame because the service up to that point had been impeccable. P.S. Please always ask if we’re done with the beer we still have served and have already paid for!!! Thanks

Was here for my sister-in-law's birthday. We had our 3 kids. We were upstairs. There was another group here and it was very loud until they left. Then the restaurant decided to crank up the music. There wasn't really anything for the kids to do, and it was so loud. We got the Canadian Pizza. It was decent. We also got the Animal Fries. They weren't very popular with 2 of my 3 kids. Pop for the kids were cans of soda for $3 each... no refills. So... technically kids allowed, but really a great place to bring kids in my opinion. I know it's a brewing company. The 2 beers I tried were good. The IPA and the Italian. If I was coming with a friend I'd recommend the beer. That was priced well and quality was high.

Today (May 18th), we came here for the ‘May Not Long Enough Weekend’ event, and had the displeasure of being served by - possibly the most rude waitress I’ve ever encountered, and I am not exaggerating. I rarely write negative reviews but this was such a surreal experience that I need to document this because I’m struggling to come to terms that we were really treated this way. Grey toque/Black playboy hoodie/jeans - don’t know her name, she didn’t bother to introduce herself. After about 15 minutes sitting at the picnic bench with no one to take our order, she comes over and tells us that food will be 45 minutes. Okay, fair enough, it’s a long weekend and the kitchen is probably busy. We decide that we don’t want to wait that long, and just order drinks. When taking our drink order, I asked “is the dole whip made with alcohol?” which apparently was the wrong question to ask at an establishment that slings libations because she then rolled her eyes, “uhhhhh no?”. I ask because Shiddy’s down the road can do alcoholic slushes. I didn’t think that was a dumb question but she responds like I’m an idiot.

The drinks come out another 15 minutes later (dropped off by another individual) and we also notice a table that got seated after us got food within 10-15 minutes. Was she just messing with us?

By the time we left, our only interaction was her taking our order and bringing us the bill. When we mentioned our concern about the neighbouring table getting food quickly, her response was to check her iPad and tell us the exact time that table was seated and then the time she took our order (keeping in mind we were sitting at the table 15 minutes before she came) instead of simply saying “sorry”.

What a disappointing experience and terrible way to relax on a...
