I recently had the pleasure of dining at Y Not Indian Restaurant in Edmonton, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail of my dining experience was taken care of. The menu at Y Not Indian Restaurant is an absolute treasure trove of mouthwatering flavors. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Each dish showcased the rich and vibrant spices that are synonymous with Indian cuisine, and the flavors were absolutely tantalizing. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries, fragrant biryanis, or savory tandoori specialties, this restaurant has something to suit every palate. I had the pleasure of indulging in their paneer tikka masala, and it was a symphony of flavors. The paneer was perfectly cooked, melting in my mouth with every bite, and the creamy tomato-based sauce was a perfect balance of tangy and spicy. Every dish was prepared with precision and attention to detail, making it evident that the chefs at Y Not Indian Restaurant take great pride in their craft. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that there was plenty to savor and satisfy even the heartiest of appetites. The presentation of each dish was impeccable, further enhancing the overall dining experience. I was truly impressed by the consistency and quality of the food throughout my meal. To complement the delightful cuisine, Y Not Indian Restaurant offers a well-curated selection of beverages, including a range of Indian-inspired cocktails and traditional lassis. I highly recommend trying their mango lassi - a refreshing and smooth drink that perfectly complements the spices of the meal. The service at Y Not Indian Restaurant was outstanding. The attentive waitstaff provided excellent recommendations and were always available to address any inquiries or requests. The overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for an intimate dinner, a group gathering, or even a romantic date night. In conclusion, I can confidently say that Y Not Indian Restaurant in Edmonton is a culinary gem. With its delectable food, exceptional service, and inviting ambiance, it truly stands out as a top-notch Indian restaurant in the area. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or simply looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. I can't wait for my next dining experience at Y Not Indian Restaurant. :- just hard to find a parking.

My brother and I went here last night for the first time. We got there right at 5pm, when the buffet started. We had a Groupon for $20 each, plus Grouopn had an extra $8 off, so $16 per person. There is free angle parking outside, which is great. The ambiance, tables, and decor are all new and look very welcoming, vwith 75 inch tvs playing sports in mute in the background. We were seated right away and our server was very pleasant and attentive without hovering. The selection was excellent, the quality of the food and taste was also excellent with lots of flavourful spices. The temperature of the food was nice and hot. They don't overstock the buffet dishes to ensure food items don't sit and get stale. There were several vegetarian dishes, butter chicken with breast meat with a deeply red tomato sauce. The goat curry was so tender. The potato salad really memorable, as was the hot noodle dish. The rice pudding and Mango custard paired very well together, and the gulab jamun tender and decadent. They have great drink specials as well. Overall it's incredible value and a truly quality experience. Ultimately, I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant and will be back again and again!

keep your receipt and verify it because this people charge extra if you are not careful! on the main course it says that it comes with naan bread or rice but yet they charge extra for it ,when I asked the guy about it ,he said it's for dine in only ,but of course there was no dine in available... Update to the owner's reply : It doesn't matter if I have a groupon or not ,the prices should be the same for everybody! you shouldn't care how much I pay for it ,it's not your business , you charged me extra even if I pick it up.. this are the cheapest items on the menu,a pound of rice costs about $1 and you can make 10 cups of rice out of it..what are you saying doesn't make sense, besides any other restaurants don't charge for it! By the way ,the food it's not that great anyway,I tried few other restaurants and not only that they are cheaper but the food taste better..I thought that I will give you a chance but you don't deserve it..Dosha Dhaba is way better and cheaper ,friendlier place! And this is where the food ended up ..

Attitude of wait or was disgraceful, when asked if our other naan was coming he said in a condescending tone “it’s coming BRO just wait..” when taking the order he started with saying “we have great butter chicken” seemed uninterested and stood there as we said what we wanted then assumed “mild spicy?” As we were finishing my friend asked if could get our meals packed and he rudely said “I can get you a container and you pack it yourself” then as we were paying he threw the receipt on the table and started punching the total on the machine so I said he should work on his customer satisfaction since they literally have a sign that says it’s their aim and he said extremely condescending “what can I do different maaaaam”. I know this isn’t the most formal complaint but it is a complaint. They need to either work on there customer service or get people who can. Don’t come to work in a bad mood and take it out on the customers. I’ve worked in a restaurant before as well as over the phone with a pizza place now I work at starbucks. I know how to treat customers, I would never in a million years even in the worst mood take it out on people who are paying customers. I order from this place all the time on skip the dishes and decided to come in to eat one time. I’m sorry but this lack of dedication to their so ‘specific aim’ is a no go for me and I will not come back or order again. Please work on your customer service because you lost a long time customer for this reason. You have great food and I hate to see it further ruined by a man without care for what he does. This guy deserves way worse than to simply work on his customer service but seriously do it pal your tone made me snap and I consider myself a positive person. “Customer satisfaction is our aim”, as it might be your aim you’re way off...
