So here’s my honest review based on going here for 1 year. Sandwiches are good, cronut idea is cool and good when with filling. The only reason I give 2 stars is cause of customer service I experienced since last summer. Every-time I would go with my boy friend there was this one girl worker with short hair and she wore a lot of mascara who would always give me problems ever since I went with him. She would just treat me with attitude which was very noticeable since she didn’t do it to anyone else. Once I even notice her drop the bread of my sandwich. She would come out from the back to just make my sandwich. This made me stop going here as much. And I have curly hair and when they had the donair sandwich she wrote on mine like do-nair. (If u know what nair is you know) Besides this one worker I didn’t have issues like this come up with anyone else who worked there. And I would tip her so I don’t see why she acted this way. Regardless of that I gave it another fresh try and went this January to try there new sandwich and when I got a cronut there was no cream in mine lol which is disappointing since it’s like $4 and then it just tasted dry and crusty. So I just won’t be ordering/going here any longer just based on my prolonged experience. Like it was mostly based on that one worker from summer 2021, but yeah that’s my experience. And I’m just very disappointed that’s why this review is so long like I genuinely use to like...

let me start by honestly I never leave reviews, and lived in Ritchie for years only having great experiences here, but I had a super strange experience today (3/15) around 11:30am. I went in to grab a sammie before work and when I got in there was 4 people in line ahead of me just not being helped or acknowledged for approx. 10 minutes straight. I left at 11:40am as there was another 6 people lining up behind me, and no one behind the counter acknowledged anyone at all, took any orders, or really seemed to care. the girl working the till was really slowly making coffee, which was never completed in the 10 mins I was there. she went to the back to get eggs, which took her 5 minutes even though the walk in is visible from the counter and there were other employees available to help restock. all so weird? I've worked counter and full service for years and although it may sound quite harsh this type of service would have had me fired. the kitchen was visibly working hard, but only seemed to have 2 tickets, which were both completed in the 10 mins I was there, which made the whole thing even weirder. I really hope employees feel comfortable and confident here at work. I understand there may have been situations completely out of everyone's control, but when you have 6 employees just staring at you wordlessly and customers actively asking each other what is going on it creates a really uncomfortable...

Farrow's makes possibly the best handmade sandwiches in the city. They use quality ingredients and I'm pretty sure they're making their beads in-house now... Could be wrong on that one but either way they use fantastic fresh breads. Originally, outside of their epic grick middle breakfast sandwich, they used to make 3 different named and unique sandwiches (2 meat 1 veggie) every couple of days to a week. Obviously this proves almost impossible over the long run, and it seems the big chief roast beef is there to stay as a staple now, but it doesn't seem like there's as much excitement now to see what's new on the menu when going in. This is mostly because theres the grick, the big chief, a veggie (which I'll admit I rarely consider, even though the 2 I have had were fantastic) which leaves me with only 1 possibly new sandwich to try. From a purely selfish standpoint I'd like to see new and exciting sandwiches all the time (my favorite was the 'you never call me on my cell pho') but from a logical standpoint I get that they have a few full time sandwiches now and only rotate the other 2 every so often. Regardless, the sandwiches are always good no matter what you go with and, unlike most places that hit a homerun right off the bat, has actually maintained their standard in quality food. Highly recommended and would suggest going to the Garneau location strictly so I don't have to wait in line at...

Farrow, a quaint sandwich shop nestled in an Edmonton neighborhood, is a culinary delight that warrants a visit. The establishment's charm lies not only in its intimate setting but also in its exceptional fare. The pulled pork sandwich, a standout on the menu, is a testament to the kitchen's mastery of flavors. The pork, tender and succulent, is seasoned to perfection, creating a symphony of taste that lingers on the palate. Looking forward to returning and trying the other items this place has to offer. The shop's interior, though compact, exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, it is the garden seating area outside that truly sets Farrow apart. Despite the rain during my visit, the allure of this alfresco dining space was evident. It's easy to imagine how delightful it would be to enjoy a meal there on a sunny day. Adding to the overall appeal of Farrow is its dog-friendly policy, a thoughtful touch that is sure to be appreciated by pet owners. The staff, too, deserve special mention for their friendliness and hospitality, contributing significantly to the pleasant dining experience. In conclusion, Farrow is a hidden gem that offers a memorable culinary experience. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Edmonton, make sure to add this charming sandwich shop to your must-visit list.

Best sandwiches in the city and worth waiting in line. With a rotating menu and always a fantastic vegan selection, Farrow is my first choice for sandwiches in Edmonton. Took my son for an afternoon treat last week and got the Falafel on Whyte, he ordered the Good Dill Hunting - both were fantastic. I always add the house made candied jalapeños (which they also sell by the jar, along with their own house made ketchup). Sooo good. Service is fast and friendly, prices are reasonable as the sandwiches are huge and so filling. Not a lot of seating so it's more of a grab n go, but the picnic table out front was available so we stayed and dined al fresco. If you haven't tried Farrow, what are you waiting for? Now that I'm leaving this review, I want to go grab a sandy for lunch!

It pains me to write this review because I have had really good sandwiches in the past. The last three times I’ve been there they’ve been borderline unedible. Their buns are insanely good, but they’re just not that good when you have to take all the meat and contents out as well as a burnt fragrance/ burnt on both sides. My latest was the Montreal smoked meat, which I get has fat in it like bacon would, but this was just chewy fat with mayo on it. I had to spit out the few bites I even took. When you get a good one they are so good though! I loved this place so much and went out of my way so many times but this is fairly consistant now so I’m sad. Hope you get a good one! Thanks PALS.
