I have been a monthly ace customer for about 4 years. Obviously their coffee is delish otherwise why would I stick around for so long. Unfortunately their customer service leaves something to be desired. Over the years I have had to reach out to them via email a handful of times and the experience has most often been mediocre at best. They have consistently left me with the feeling that my business is not really valued and I am am hassling them, if they reply at all. Most recently I got a notice that a new order had been shipped out but no reminder notice was emailed in advance. I rely on the notice to check my supply and adjust my shipment date if needed. I emailed them a few times to get it sorted out and they did cancel it. But I did not get one single human reply to any of my 3 emails. I was trying to figure out why the reminder wasn't sent and if I should expect that in the future to help me best plan for my coffee needs. I truly just don't understand the logic behind treating customers like this? Don't they want/need our business? I find it perplexing. I will be on the look out for a different option for my monthly coffee deliveries and I would suggest to look elsewhere if good customer service it...
Read moreI recently visited Ace Coffee Shop and Roasters, and while there were some positive aspects, my overall experience left something to be desired. The ambiance was pleasant, with a cozy interior and a variety of seating options. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making the ordering process smooth.
On the downside, the coffee selection felt somewhat limited, and I was hoping for more unique and diverse options to choose from. Additionally, the prices were a bit on the higher side for the quality and quantity of the items. While the coffee I ordered was decent, it didn't stand out as anything exceptional.
One aspect that particularly disappointed me was the lack of vegan and gluten-free options in their food offerings. In an age where dietary restrictions are common, it's essential for cafes to cater to a wider range of preferences.
In summary, Ace Coffee Shop and Roasters offers a cozy atmosphere and friendly service, but falls short in terms of coffee variety, pricing, and catering to dietary needs. It might be a decent choice for a quick coffee, but I would hope to see some improvements to make it a more outstanding...
Read moreIf you have followed my reviews then you know that I still want to know why some of these coffee dispensaries do well or better than others. Other than belong well financed and managed by a team or board of directors, can a place actually rise above the rest? It's not coffee quality necessarily or timmies wouldn't have thrived. Mickie D's serves decent Lattes and I doubt the average big Mac buyers get a latte? Ace must be a chain place as it is a huge interesting former fabric store or something. Well laid out and in an ok location it seems to attract the business. The servers were efficient but mostly a transaction oriented sale of Capp. Is it the best imo, no. Close? Maybe 7/10. That is a good score. The best coffee drinks come from European style places from probably France imo. These inquiries are important as I want to open a sandwich outlet someday and want to know by analyzing this trend to see if an independent partially financed person can succeed. So in conclusion, I am ok with this place if another local place nearby is closed...
