Post Time at Fitzgerald’s is a South Edmonton landmark that checks so many boxes it’s ridiculous. The classy lounge atmosphere and welcoming waitress staff make guests feel right at home. Our waitress was MJ and she took care of everything we needed like a pro. A third of the lounge is a dedicated to horse racing and off-track betting complete with electronic betting machines and an onsite cashier during racing hours. The lounge section is anchored by a large sprawling bar with a premium selection of domestic and import draft beers on tap. Spirits, wines, cocktails and other bottled drinks are readily available. Comfy deep chair lounge seating for small groups, or large, is ample as is bar seating. Large screen TVs displaying major sporting events are visible from every seat. The menu is a delicious mix of pub, pizza and Asian fare with generous portions. In my opinion, the fried buffalo chicken wings are some of the best in the city. There is a small lottery ticket corner as well as a VLT nook with 8 machines for those who like a quick bet on the way to and from the restroom.

Perhaps Fitzgerald’s best kept secret is the darts and billiards players section at the back of the lounge. Several dart boards with spacious lanes and seating as well as an elevated back section with two billiards tables can easily accommodate 20 people. A door behind the pool tables gives access to those who park in the back as well as to darts and pool players looking for a quick cigarette. You should probably keep an eye on the alcohol consumption for the regular "old group" that sits at the high-top table across from the bar. They were at your establishment this past Saturday, November 27, 2021.

One of these individuals was driving drunk in the parking lot and when I parked in a parking stall correctly - and between the lines - they yelled profanities at me as they thought I was parked in more than one stall? I am still not sure why he was mad or yelled.

This person then parked and stumbled into your lounge where he met up with his "buddies" and continued to drink his life away and glare at me as I was having lunch with my girlfriend.

This person could barely walk let alone drive, so not sure why he was being served alcohol. This regular group of drunks is usually there all the time, but just thought you should know how they are treating your other customers.

Wont be going to your lounge ever again...

Been a regular visitor for years. We keep coming back because the service is amazing and staff are (almost 😉) always friendly. It's no high end establiment, nor does it claim to be, but it's far from a dive bar. Just a great little "neighbourhood" pub. Wish they would add some monthly food features in addition to the menu, but that's just because we've tried everything we like a hundred times. 😂 Adding in a few new/different lunch features and mains each month would keep the menu from feeling stale before it's time.
