Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Edmonton

Recently visited this coffee shop with my husband, and I was quite uncomfortable with the level of personal detail the barista shared with him while I was standing right side of him. She seemed to be going out of her way to engage him in conversation, sharing personal details about her life that made me feel like I was witnessing something inappropriate. As a customer, I expect a friendly and professional service, not a personal Q&A session. The barista's behavior came across as flirtatious, and it made for an awkward experience. I think it's high time for this coffee shop to educate their staff on maintaining professional boundaries with customers, especially when it comes to sensitive or personal topics. A simple "hello, how's your day?" would suffice, rather than delving into personal stories. Maybe provide your staff with some training on customer service etiquette, particularly when serving couples or groups? They charged me for the wrong order then made me pay extra when I had a reward activated so I paid more than I should have. They also ring up your order wrong consistently and forget to give you your whole order.

Again, I was charged for the wrong order. It was over $14 and when I said that was wrong, they gave me $1 back. My order was 2 coffees and 2 donuts. I had a reward I was going to redeem to get that for $5. When I said there was no way that my order cost $13 dollars they threw some junk change at me to get me to leave the drive through and I counted it and it was another dollar. So I got charged double the price of my order and it was treated as an inconvenience to them. I would like my money back and there needs to be better training done as this has happened to me multiple times at this location. I tried to call them after I got to work and nobody would pick up. So far I've been here 3 times. Coffee is good and seems to be of same quality. The food here is the opposite. I gave it 3 chances because I'm working close by. Donut I ordered was put in a sleeves and when it came time to eat the paper envelope took all the icing off the top and left with a slopping pudding/doughy mess. I ordered a bagel belt and it was thrown together so sloppy and the bacon I received was literally one peice of bacon broken in half to spread on the bagel. Very very bad prep work at this tims. The lettuce here is thrown on your sandwich Even if it's gone bad. The grill machine is down so my wrap was not grilled and the ranch applied was over execcive. The crispy chicken seemed crispy only by time left out in the open. Nothing here is worth your money. Unless you have to have your DD its the only thing this place diddnt mess up. Very disappointed.
