Simply the best donair I can find. If you can convince me otherwise, let me know. I spoke to the manager/owner younger guy one night about this and he told me its because they make their own meat instead of buying a spit from Costco. I've been eating these there since the 90's so five stars for the donairs, the pizza is really good too! But the decorum in this place hasn't changed and has slowly degraded into a place you don't want to eat in. There used to be more tables and it was like a restaurant, now its sparse and the heat inside this place during the summer is absolutely insane. Two stars on decorum. But they still have vintage arcade games and a foosball table! That's pretty epic! So if you don't mind sitting in a place that is basically set up to only do deliveries and doesn't care if you eat inside, check it out! Play some Ms. Pacman, you won't regret it.

I've been eating from here for 20 years. My go-to is always the hot submarine sandwich. I'm pretty sure they make the buns themselves too they always taste freshly baked and I think there's the perfect amount of toppings. The price has gone up a little bit still a very fair price at $8.95 for a sandwich of this quality.

Went in for a donair, the meat and and edge of the pita were very dry and crusty all around. The sauce was buried in the middle. I ordered a jumbo donair, and found out that this didn't mean a bigger pita, only that they overstuffed a regular sized pita wrap. Also, Sprite plant gets 4 stars.

I chose to try this place out, because my regular favorite donair place is closed on Sundays, and this restaurant has an extremely positive reputation, which I've heard on many occasions via word-of-mouth. This may apply to their pizza, as any person who recommends their donairs has clearly never eaten a good donair.

First off, they made the donair upside-down. The pita went into a deep-dish pizza plate, first receiving a ludicrous amount of cheap filler vegetables, followed by a decidedly stingy pinch of bland, poorly seasoned and dry meat, a single miniscule ladle-full of runny, bland sweet garlic sauce, finally getting topped off with an unexpectedly thick handful of shredded pizza mozzarella. This cacophony was then thrown in the pizza oven!! Unsurprisingly, the result was a dry, brittle pita, and soft, squishy vegetables, making the entire serving unappealing, and genuinely difficult to eat. Further compounding the difficulty to eat, was the restaurant staff's inability to properly package the donair: it was placed on a sheet of conventional tinfoil, and loosely rolled/folded up, instead of the common tight rolling technique.

Every proper donair starts with the traditionally heated/grilled meat, either before or after the cheese, then generous amounts of sauce, topped off with some light vegetables. This was an inverted disappointment. They even applied separate surcharges to add hot peppers (which was listed as a surcharge on the menu,) and olives (not explicitly stated anywhere as a surcharged addition.) While the establishment may have a good reputation for pizza, their donairs are downright crap, and their dirt-cheap business model shows as the most prominent feature of their food and operation. Can't argue with...

Very disappointed with what happened last night. I have ordered from Roadrunner for my entire life. I have not moved from Elmwood in the 25 years I have been alive. I normally never have an issue and tip handsomely as I like supporting local places especially since it has been open and run by the same family since I was a kid. Last night I asked as I normally do if they have crab meat. The answer was yes but not much. I asked them if they had enough for a small pizza and the older gentleman said that they had enough for a large. I kind of took the hint and got a large. When I got home with my large pizza and 12 spring rolls I was excited to dig into the pizza but when I opened the box I was horrified to see crab meat that had turned green. Clearly bad! However I thought I would give it a chance just in case it may have been burnt while cooking and just looked weird. As soon as the meat in question touched my tongue I knew it was bad and spit it out. It is annoying knowing that it was clearly bad when he took it out of the oven. I don't know about before he cooked it but rather than letting me know and apologizing and making a new pizza with something else they just didn't care enough and gave me something that would obviously make me and my family sick if consumed. I just can't believe that after being a loyal customer for this long they couldn't have cared enough to not give me food poisoning. Shameful behaviour. I will be bringing the rotten pizza that I got last night back today in hopes of getting a refund but the fact that I have to do this at all is extremely upsetting and disappointing. Enclosed are pictured of the pizza...

Literally the best donair in Northern America. Please order extra cheese and large side of sauce to put on it. It is my guilty pleasure. They have limited delivery area so I bribe them with an extra 5 bucks tip and it's worth it. Pizzas also amazing if u order extra sauce and cheese. Been going for years. They are the gold standard for donairs for me. Everything else in the city tasts like a poor meatyish sub.......

Edit 2024. Sorry but after the years these people have reduced the quality of the food and are only interested in putting out as cheap as possible while trying to pretend thay are the restaurant they used to be. The cheese is now half processed, the meat not as fresh. I also order extra large sauce twice in a row and got only a small. I asked why, and the response was they only have small containers. They still had no issue charging me for a large because im just a dumb person ordering delivery and they just made double the money.... I can not endorse this place any longer. These kind of places that used to be good, but now only take advantage of thier old reputation should be shut down. It breaks my heart to say this about this location, and I hope that there is some small chance that this location is the only one that has turned bad. They used to be my favorite. Then they thought they could take advantage of people and no one would know. Well, now we know.....

Edit may 2025. Ordered 3 times this year. They have improved. Quality has improved a lot. I am happy to order from again. Wish they used the same amount of cheese as they used to but times are...
