my experience at this Subway was disappointing enough that I felt it needed to be shared. I stopped in expecting a quick, decent meal, but instead walked away completely dissatisfied, frustrated, and honestly, grossed out.
I ordered a rice bowl, which already feels like a bit of a gamble at Subway, but I’ve had okay experiences in the past. Not this time. As soon as I saw the staff member preparing it, I knew I was about to be disappointed. The rice container was clearly almost empty — there was barely anything left in it. Instead of grabbing a new batch or even acknowledging that there wasn’t enough, the employee just scraped the bottom of the container and tossed the remnants into my bowl. It wasn’t even close to a full serving. He didn’t ask if I was okay with that, didn’t offer to supplement it with anything, just kept going like it was fine.
Then came the protein. I asked for steak, hoping at least that would help salvage the bowl a bit. Nope. I got what can only be described as a tiny scoop — barely a couple of small pieces. It looked like leftovers, the stuff you’d expect to see right before they refill the tray. It’s like they were rationing ingredients or just didn’t care at all. It definitely wasn’t what you’d expect for the price you're paying.
To make matters worse, the food didn’t even taste fresh. The rice was awful — dry, hard in some places, and clearly stale. It had that weird, day-old texture like it had been sitting out uncovered. I took a few bites and couldn’t even finish it. The steak was cold and chewy, and the whole bowl was just unappetizing. Nothing about it felt like it had been made with care or attention. It genuinely felt like they were trying to get rid of leftovers instead of serving a proper meal.
I understand that fast food isn’t gourmet dining, but there’s a minimum standard for quality and service, and this place didn’t come close. What I got wasn’t worth even half of what I paid for it. I left still hungry, annoyed, and feeling like I just threw money in the garbage.
Subway markets itself as fresh and customizable, but this experience was the exact opposite. If you’re going to charge people for a full meal, the least you can do is actually give them a full portion and make sure the food is edible. Sadly, that seems like too much to ask at this location.
Bottom line: terrible value, lazy service, and bad food. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this Subway to anyone. Spend your money somewhere that actually respects...

Then the male worker who was helping the lady ahead of me was crunching up bacon for her salad with his gloves, he then proceeded to make her sandwich and put his whole hand in the lettuce STILL WEARING the same gloves that he just CRUSHED UP THE BACON WITH. I told the lady worker that was making my sub to stop because I didn’t want it anymore because the male worker just touched the lettuce. She started questioning me and then the male worker chimed in and started yelling that he didn’t touch the bacon (which was a lie) and then told the lady customer he was helping that “people are to sensitive these days”. I was not being sensitive at all its common sense DON’T TOUCH VEGGIES AFTER TOUCHING MEAT! especially bacon. I’m disgusted with the workers and their disrespect and LACK of hygiene. I will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone. First time placing an order on their app and just want to make sure I the order went through so I called the store but the staff said they did not receive any order while the app said the order was received on my end (i placed the order at 6:30pm and to be picked up at around 7:10pm). The staff was confused as they got nothing on their end and I did not know what is going on (subway has no customer service line for you to call to follow up on such issue) so the staff said he would get the manager to call me in person to assist me. Turns out the store won't get the order until 10 minutes before your pick up time (to maintain the food quality).
